[The puppy sniffs, and sniffs, and rolls over onto its back submissively.]

Mine and Michael's. Sam found him for us. Here, finish this. [A large glass of water.]

[WELL THEN. Puppy will have a kitten pouncing on him and nuzzling.]

[He takes the water, drinking it before saying anything else.]

He is. I think we'll keep him a while.

[Lucifer reaches a hand out, and Eden cautiously flies over to him. She settles in once he starts giving her fruit.]

[He nods a little in reply to the comment about Sam, although it's debatable how much he gets passed the agreement. He watches Eden flying, bright and movement with bright and shiny. Consider his attention locked.]

[He takes it, but he's watching Lucifer and Eden. Yali joins his brother in investigating the puppy, him headbutting one of Fraiser's large paws.]

[Frasier flails his paws when he figures out the kittens will chase them, and (sneaky puppy) begins wriggling closer to Magneto.]

[The kittens keep close, and the movement of the puppy draws Magneto's attention back towards them for a moment. He tenses - still sore, still hurting from earlier - but he doesn't move other than glancing between Lucifer and Eden, and the wriggling puppy with kittens stalking and pouncing on flailing puppy parts.]

[Lucifer leans over and offers a piece of pineapple to Magneto.

He is a pet, after all.]

[Normally, in the interest of trolling and just being comfortable he'd have take the offered piece with his teeth. Because if you are going to be treated like a pet...why not push your luck a little?

But he's not in a normal mental state and so takes it gently, but nibbles on it immediately. Fruit, even decades later, attracts his attention far more than anything else, the mental link between safety and security tied to having fruit, due to how rare they were when he was young.]
