Her rather nude chest is also apparent, but she seems comfortable more than anything, long damp hair blowing lightly in the breeze, pooling over her shoulders.]}

Today I found something interesting.

_{[And she seems to reach off camera for a moment, before thrusting a metal fork right at her NV.]}

_{[She pulls it back toward herself and takes a few strands of hair in hand before...combing them with the fork.]}

Is it not an amazing treasure? Knots in hair are bothersome but this rids the hair of them. It is much more effective than using fingers.

What is it called, this treasure of mine? I have no name for it. I wish to know.

Well, lots of foods need to be cooked to be properly eaten. Hot food is quite satisfying, too. You should try it sometime.

Hmm... Well, like an egg. Or meat. If one doesn't cook them thoroughly, they might cause illness. And they wouldn't taste nearly as good.

But I eat such things without being cooked all the time and I have never become ill, Kurt. Meat is delicious. Bird eggs are also quite good. Birds as well, although their feathers can be quite annoying and they can be hard to catch.

Well, you're a mermaid. Humans are quite different. Our stomachs are a little weaker, I think. And we don't have your fabulous fins.

[A little smirk.] As evidenced by the male stupidity you've been subject to since you made this broadcast, we're not used to the same things you are.

Humans are weak in many ways. Do you enjoy eggs and meat as well?

Men can stare all they like, it does not bother me. We are supposed to be charming, after all.

In moderation. They both have a lot of fat and cholesterol.

...And you're worth more than just being charming, I hope you know. Objectification is rude and dehumanizing and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I do not understand what you mean. _{[And really, she doesn't.]} But I am aware I am worth more than ten pirate ships filled to the brim with gold.

And I'm--I'm not talking about monetary wealth, Syrena. I mean that you're a whole being, not just something to be ogled. You have thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams. Objectifying is when someone treats you as though you have none of those things, and that you simply exist for their own amusement.

...Oh. _{[Thoughts of being stuffed in a tiny glass coffin are resurfacing now. She seems to stop with her fiddling of the fork.]} Yes, I understand what that is like.

But they are not doing such a thing. I do not mind being looked at. _{[In fact, it was flattering to a degree. While she wasn't as vain as her sisters were, she was still vain. Being a mermaid had that affect, after all.]}

Well, one of them is called a comb. It's good for smoothing out tangles and separating hair. The other one is called a brush, for gathering hair and styling it.
