No, there are no key bearers. She is merely dwelling in the Abyss, unable to walk to the world that she desires so much to conquer. She has to follow laws that are greater than her. Which is why she relies on her children so much.

They are dragons, called chromatic dragons. There are five different kinds, based on the color of their scales. White, green, black, blue, and red. Those are her children.

There are the elves, who are growing in power. I do not know how humans rose in prominence, only that they took part in the Dragon War.

Those who are powerful enough to fight against the chromatics one to one are the metallic dragons, the children of Paladine, the chief god of Good. Divided in five clans, there are brass, copper, bronze, silver, and gold dragons. I am the patriarch of the gold dragon clan.

To be fair, there are not many dragons in comparison to the numbers of the elves, humans, or the ogres. We not only grow slowly, but we won't hatch from our eggs for centuries.
