[Godric is on your screen, half bent over with his fangs popped and blood dripping down from his chin down his chest. He's shirtless and in the room of someone. It's dark but there's dark stains behind him and he's probably lying in a fair bit of it.

There's a maniacal look in his eye. Something has awoken and it's old. Gone is the sad, tired look of a sixteen year old ancient. Instead he is lusting after all he's kept inside for nearly a century.]

I grow bored already. [Said in a thick accent over his fangs.] I thirst for more.

[It's not so much a challenge. He's two thousand years old. Siren's Port, get ready for a blood bath.]

ooc: so this is one half of the vampire duo that is going to tear up the city. It was mentioned on the ooc comm. Any comments, etc post them there.

Have you lost your mind?

I thought you of all people would understand. [Considering how he gave him the 'unstoppable' speech.]

And I fed. [He frowns and leans his head slightly.]

Are you certain you recall how? It looks more like you've taken a course in interior decorating.

[He tilts his head. Switching to old Swedish now.] Are you questioning my actions, Childe? Again.

Aren't you always trying to get me to... act?

[ He switches languages too, easily. ]

I am always trying to get you to eat, that's different. Does the time we spent together mean that I can no longer express myself to you?

You are bathed in blood, killing in plain sight. You jeapoardise everything. Is this some kind of punishment?

I freed you long ago. You never had to have a connection to me. [Of course Eric makes him feel this. But there's too much. There's so much that has been taken away. He feels completely free for the first time in a very long time.

He knows that he often speaks of emotions, but emotion is driving him right now. This was a rash decision, and as much as he tries not to be, he has succumbed to them before.]

I was always free. Free from the moment we met. But I cannot avoid my connection with you, even when I break it. You are in my dreams, I feel you even when you aren't there.

You are my maker, Godric, and I have known you for too long. Civilisations rose and fell while we made Europe our larder. This isn't you.

I would do anything to go back to how things were, but not like this. This isn't what you want.

[This should strike a chord with him. It should make him realize when so many people tell him this is not who he is. But there's a sense of overwhelming freedom that blocks out any reason. He wants this because he does. It's a basic instict that he has to force down every moment of every day. It makes life endless to carry it.

To not have it is empowering, to remember how easily he can just snuff life out. And he craves it. Godric craves all if it.]

I am doing what you wanted. I am doing what I wanted.

This isn't what I wanted, Godric.

[ He shook his head, just for a moment, but there was nothing he could say, really. It was true that he had wanted Godric back, but not like this. Not like this. ]

You spent ten centuries teaching me control. Ten centuries.

And did you ever listen?

[He just looks back at him. He knows. He knows he's not in control. Most of it is driving him crazy, but there's something freeing about it.]

To a point. I learnt to be careful. You taught me that every person has a choice, because you gave me such a choice yourself. When people torture and kill vampires for their blood, they have made a choice. When they scheme against us, they make a choice. A choice between life and death.

You taught me to choose my victims, Godric, but always to offer that choice. Life and death. Is that not so?

What are you feeling now?

I did choose. I chose this person. [It may have been an impulse, but it was very much his choice.]

What am I feeling? Apathy, hunger, annoyance mainly.

Come to me, Godric. I will help contain you, control you, protect you. I cannot do that while you run free.

I do not need my Childe to take care of me. I existed for a thousand years before you. [Of course he was exiled for a long bout of that.]

Then you are refusing.

And what if I am?

I just want it to be clear. I asked you to come to me, and you refused.

[He watches him skeptically. He knows Eric too well, knows how calculating he can be.]

You're up to something.

I always am, Godric.

You could order me to tell you.

I have only ever once ordered you do to something recently. I intend to keep it that way.

So you are still decent. You still give me a choice.

I have not stopped being me.

I decided I was hungry.

I see that now.
