[The normally sour faced Lieselotte seems to be in a good mood this evening.]

Well, I cannot say that I enjoyed being dragged into the past, but I at least had some good news awaiting me when my NV came back on. It seems that Mr. Butz thought enough of me to prepare in case he ever got dragged home. I received a prerecorded message from him stating that as the house was paid for, I was allowed to stay here. After a little bit of searching I believe I found the proper documents to make it legal.

So, that is one less thing I have to worry about. There is still the problem of money, but I will begin to think about that later. I just want to rest for now. Oh and Mr. Creed, if you see this, I would still like your help sorting out his things. He left some instructions involving two specific ones, a pair of golden statues, and as he thought so much of me I would like to see his wishes carried out.

One last thing. To everyone that was nice enough to offer me your help....

[She looks away from the camera, seeming embarrassed to actually say something like this.]

..Umm.. thanks. It made me a little happy.

I'm glad to hear it, Lieselotte. [He sounds it, too, the smile in the corners of his eyes spilling into the warmth of his voice.] Are you set for money for a little while, too?

It depends. I can't say I have an income. There aren't any normal jobs for people my age. But I may be able to get something for the items that Mr. Butz didn't leave specific instructions for.

[The phrase "normal jobs" has a slightly uncomfortable echo now; he knows what she's thinking.] I'm sure he'd understand if you had to sell them on.

Well, if it comes to that, then I will simply have to do it. This house is mine now, but I still need to pay for its utilities. I cannot simply live in darkness with no power or running water. That would not be fun.

[He gives a nod and a small smile.] I am glad to hear this. I was concerned, of course, but Mr. Butz was a good man, and he understood as well as all of us that he could be gone at any moment. Leaving things to help take care of the ones behind is one of the best things someone can do.

But of course, I am more then happy to help. It can wait, though, I believe we all need some more time to rest.

That is fine. These things aren't going anywhere. I shall simply wait until you have the time. I do not exactly have pressing business, so I'm sure when you have time, I will as well.

Perhaps tomorrow? I am free tomorrow night.

Okay. I will be here. But will you be okay at night?

[Excuse him, but he can't help but ask...]

That is right. They aren't for sale, though.

I'm sure there's too much sentimental value for that. I was just not sure how he could have... did he carve them himself? He really was talented.

I am not certain, they were already finished before I ever met him. All I know for certain is that he left specific instructions for those two things, and I would like to see them followed out.
