Are you sure this is now I use this, flowers?

[The camera finally focuses on him, showing him sitting on the ground besides some wildflowers by a roadside. He's in his casual clothes, dressed all in black with a coat that has a furry collar and cuffs.]

Is it working now then...? Oh! [He smiles brightly at the camera.] Hello, can anyone hear me. I just got here and I'm afraid I'm a little lost. The flowers tell me I'm in a city called Siren's Port...? They also say something about me being pulled here.... and that this is another world... Is that right?

More importantly though, I was with a friend before I ended up here. Has anyone seen him? He's around 6 feet tall with short reddish brown hair, warm brown eyes and he wears glasses. His name is Castor.

Or perhaps Frau is here? He's over 6 feet tall with blond spiky hair, blue eyes and well, extremely childish and a pervert. [He's silent for a moment as the flowers whisper to him.] Oh, is that so? He is here then, is he? Then I must apologize to everyone for any trouble Frau has caused so far. I'll keep an eye on him from now on.

And Frau, I know you can hear me. Come fetch me. It's freezing out here, you know.

Sort of, he calls them zoomers. Violet Systems made them... I think SERO might own the patent for them now, though. Which kinda stinks. They tried to rob credit for like- half of everything Chaolan's company invented, when they ditched corporate.

It's tough to go unaffiliated. Sam paid big time when he left managing at Club 24 to start up Merlotte's, too. So it's the same story everywhere, AGI, SERO...

Gosh, the greeters don't do their jobs....

AGI and SERO are the big companies in the city. They own almost everything or at least they make almost everything get "affiliated " with one of them.

Violet Systems is a smaller company that one of us started. Guy named Lee Chaolan. They make robots and stuff like that. They started up under SERO, but then they cut loose. Its a dangerous thing to do, in this place.

They're called....Pheonix... something now, instead? I don't really know how they're doing. I know that they sort of- it's a big mess, pulling away from SERO. All the free stuff is gone. SERO still thinks it owns all the inventions they made, back when it was Violet Systems. The Darkness Dogs, and all of that-

Technically the Mayor Townshed's in charge here, but if you ask me, its the companies who steer almost everything he does.

And how long... well, that all depends. The pull keeps some newcomers here a few weeks. I've been here almost three years now.

Yep, that's them. SERO'll brag on and on about their hi-tech, and AGI'll try to win you over with "fun", but they're really shady too.

I don't think anybody really keeps track...it feels like newcomers disappear all the time- newer new people keep showing up, though.
