[The camera finally focuses on him, showing him sitting on the ground besides some wildflowers by a roadside. He's in his casual clothes, dressed all in black with a coat that has a furry collar and cuffs.]

Is it working now then...? Oh! [He smiles brightly at the camera.] Hello, can anyone hear me. I just got here and I'm afraid I'm a little lost. The flowers tell me I'm in a city called Siren's Port...? They also say something about me being pulled here.... and that this is another world... Is that right?

More importantly though, I was with a friend before I ended up here. Has anyone seen him? He's around 6 feet tall with short reddish brown hair, warm brown eyes and he wears glasses. His name is Castor.

Or perhaps Frau is here? He's over 6 feet tall with blond spiky hair, blue eyes and well, extremely childish and a pervert. [He's silent for a moment as the flowers whisper to him.] Oh, is that so? He is here then, is he? Then I must apologize to everyone for any trouble Frau has caused so far. I'll keep an eye on him from now on.

And Frau, I know you can hear me. Come fetch me. It's freezing out here, you know.

Hmm... I suppose I would first of all need a place to stay? Though I guess that wouldn't be much of a problem when I find Frau.

Hmm... perhaps about who's in charge here and how long we're expected to be here?

Technically the Mayor Townshed's in charge here, but if you ask me, its the companies who steer almost everything he does.

And how long... well, that all depends. The pull keeps some newcomers here a few weeks. I've been here almost three years now.

I see... So real power is in the hands of these companies. Are they the two you mentioned - SERO and AGI?

I se- Three years??

Well I guess it's just one tower, now. Right near the baseball field you got dropped in.

Yep, that's them. SERO'll brag on and on about their hi-tech, and AGI'll try to win you over with "fun", but they're really shady too.

Oh... [he looks over to the tower] I see it.

With 'fun'? What sort of 'fun'? How are they shady?

Do most people stay here that long?

They have a lot of dirty business. Clubs for sex and stuff.

Not most at all- I think I'm one of the longest newcomers, now.

... [Oh, that sort of fun. The despicable kind.] That kind.

I see... Do you know how long people usually stay here then?

I don't think anybody really keeps track...it feels like newcomers disappear all the time- newer new people keep showing up, though.

... disappear? Where do they go? Back to the place they were from?

I guess so? I'm not really sure. Some people disappear for awhile, come back, and say they've been home.

They remember being here...?

I see... are they friends of yours?

Ahiru's a very good friend, but she's from another world.

Riku is... like my brother? Sort of? More like I'm his copy. But I'm my own person now.

I see.

... his copy? You mean... like a clone?

Pretty much that exactly, yeah.

So clones exists in other worlds as well... Are you both very similar to each other?

Not at heart, anymore. He has made his own memories, now I've got a couple years of mine.

We look almost the same- I made him keep his hair grown out, and we don't dress the same anymore. But we could pass for each other on ID cards.

I see... Have you both been here for the same amount of time?

[chuckles a bit at that] You do sound rather close though.

Same day! The towers landlord thought we were the same person, and that I lost my key already.

We fight less now than we used to.

[laughs] Really? That must have been some experience!

That's good! I'm glad that you get along now!

I hated him then. A lot. But the landlord wouldn't give me my own apartment.

So for the first month, almost every night we fought over who'd get the bed or the couch.

[A sort of lie- He'd wanted to fight for it, and Riku humored him for a few days until it got embarrassing, and then he'd surrendered.]

Eh? ... but why? Why did you hate him.
