It's aimed incorrectly as he presses buttons on it, giving glimpse of his shoulder and then the ceiling and then a blue eye, enough for people who have spoken to or encountered him to recognize who he is. Then he finally gets the filter in place.]

[This time the transmission is on purpose, focused on his face, and he looks... A little nervous. Definitely unsure of himself, and his voice is softer than usual when he speaks.]

[Another small pause. To anyone who might recognize it as such, he's in a spare room in Mary's apartment.]

I don't remember anything before arriving here a few days ago. I don't want to remember. But if we were friends, then I thought I should at least let you know that I'm here.

[He seems to consider saying something else, but finally just shuts off the feed. He's too confused to put into words what he wants to say.]
