[The device clicks on and the feed is a little shaky for a moment as uncertain hands mess with it. Finally Teito's face fills the screen.]

Ah..Good evening. Sorry to disturb everyone but I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm new here..but apparently I've been here before. My name is Teito Klein. I guess some of you probably knew me from before so I apologize in advance for not remembering you.

[Teito looks a little uncertain for a moment and turns his face away as he tries to think of what to say. Finally after a couple seconds he looks back at the screen again.]

Does that happen often? I mean..leaving and coming back without your memories. I've had trouble with my memory before so I was just curious if it is only me that doesn't remember being here. I've heard that people can come back with their memories of this place..so I'm just wondering about why I didn't.

I hope I didn't forget too many important things..[Teito looks genuinely concerned about that. He'd hate to think someone would be upset because he forgot something. It's not like he meant to but..that's beside the point.]

Anyway..thank you for your time.

Does that sound ok? Do you like chinese, or something more like a bunch of breakfast food, or fried chicken or something?

[Teito gets a rather confused look on his face which can't be seen through the voice communication but might be heard.]

What is..chinese? Fried chicken? [You're talking to a kid that pretty much survived off pills for a good portion of his growing years and one that is used to eating Eye Fish Stew while at the church.]

I'm not sure what the food is like here but I don't mind going out for some at some point.

Chinese is...um... there's rice with stuff in it, and sauces that are sour and sweet, and spicy beef and broccoli, and crispy noodles, and eggrolls?

[Yeah, he's a connoisseur of world cuisine, clearly.]

Oh, and fortune cookies! They have a paper in the middle that gives you lucky numbers and advice.

A cookie that gives you advice? Why would you need advice from a cookie? Are they smart? Should you really eat a smart cookie?
