[ Video / Locked from Hattie & Flonne ] (Mid-Evening post)
[ While Hattie is "safely" away for the evening with a certain Mr. Nightray, Ella is enjoying the night off! And as she has been relatively quiet, for reasons of her own, she was bringing to the network a question.
Of course she is curled up on her bed looking a bit worn out from being sick (not cold-sick, oh-god-what-are-you-making-me-eat sick). Kyra was curled up on the bed next to Ella, dozing like a good wolfdogpup. ]
We don't precisely have this kind of holiday back in Frell, or at least it isn't called "Valentine's Day". But I get the idea of it, for the most part. I'm more curious about people's interpretation of "love" though. I mean, there are a lot of different types - the one I'm referring to leans more to ... well, creepy, actually.
Say you have a girl who likes a guy - or the reverse. Maybe it's a guy who likes a girl. Either way, someone likes someone. Only it's not mutual. What would you consider of the person that forces their love on you - like breaking into your apartment to fix you food, climbing into your bed while you're asleep, stalking your apartment or home to watch you turn the lights on and off.
Basic creeper behavior, in my opinion. But some people think that if it's a "powerful love" then it's okay, even if - in one case, the guy doesn't want anything to do with girl "in love" with them. So what do you think? Is that kind of behavior validated because of love, or would you call them out on being creepy and unwanted?
[ A pause, and she grins, tiredly. ]
And before certain people jump to conclusions, no, it's not a hypothetical friend of a friend of a friend nonsense. It's related to a conversation I had with my stepsister and Flonne a few weeks ago.
Oh and Byakuya, I'm sorry I wasn't in today - I hope Hattie didn't make a mess of things.
[ She... hadn't seen his post from earlier. ]

Come to think of it - I think she was planning on bringing some Valentine candy, but she was going to leave it with Byakuya to bring to you.
[ He probably threw them out. ]
Video
He mentioned that. But I never got them. [He doesn't sound put out by that fact. Are we surprised?]
Video
... ... actually that would open up a whole other kettle of fish.

Re: Video
[ She's just so clueless to the hate people have for her, it's a bit upsetting. ]
Video
It's what he was planning on doing with everything else; I see no reason why this would be any different, especially as he would know I wouldn't accept them.
Video
Did this sort of thing happen back in your home too?
Video
The holiday is acknowledged there, though I'd been thankfully left out of it until this year. [Guess who's gaining a fanclub among young teenage girls in the port. He already wants them to quit it.]
Video
I have a feeling that lucky streak is about to run out. I'll keep my ear to the ground in case Hattie starts with her usual shenanigans again, when it comes to guys she's obsessed with.
On the bright side? You're not a prince, so her infatuation isn't going to last as long as the one she had on Arthur when he was around. She's got the romantic attention span of a goldfish.

Re: Video
Oh gods, that must be annoying. Has it gotten as bad as it is for Byakuya?
Video
Tch. Extremely annoying. [Not that it takes a lot to annoy him, anyway.] I've managed to avoid a mountain of gifts.
[Probably because none of them know where he lives or works.]
