[Guess what, Siren's Port! Finn Hudson is not coming to you with a question, for once. At least not yet. Nope, instead he's probably just going to end up embarrassing himself. It's not like he hasn't done this in front of a lot of people before, or anything. But, this is different or something]

I don't know how Rachel used to do this everyday then, you know, post it online and everything. I mean, I doubt that many people saw it her videos, because it's not like anyone even uses MySpace anymore, but whatever, I guess. Um... [He trails off as he moves to prop the NV up against his headboard. He clears his throat, then starts to sing this song]

[When the song ends, for a long while the only sound in the room is Finn's breathing. Yeah, that was just as awkward as he thought it would be] It'd probably sound a little better with music or something but I kinda have to work with what I've got and, you know, music isn't really one of those things right now.

So she gets what she wants. You can always try to make her think that what you want is what she wants, but it all might get confusing after awhile.

I think you have a lot of work ahead of you for that. But a home cooked dinner? Is a pretty good start.

That's what I'm afraid of, the work I have ahead of me. I mean, the way she is now is after two years of her kinda toning down the intensity a little. Well, most of the last two years, at least.

I tried cooking for her once before, but I kinda forgot-- Not that she really noticed, but I still feel sorta bad for it.

I think that... even if you're afraid of it? If you're willing to put in the work, I think you'll be fine. You still want to be with her now, you know? Even after two years of her toning it all down, but not quite all the way there.

Simple answer is to not forget anything this time. [Laughs.]

I think it helps that I knew what Rachel was like before ever going out with her, you know? ...not that I really knew we were together right away. [Please don't think he's as clueless as that makes him sound :C

Finn laughs too, and nods] Yeah, trying not to. I think asking where to buy vegan stuff is a step in the right direction, at least.

I always think it's better to be friends with someone before you start dating them. In my personal opinion, anyway.

[Grins.] Grocery store, natural food aisle. Or ask someone to help, people are pretty helpful around here.

Yeah, I think that too. [He pauses] I was gonna say that that might have been why things fell apart between me and Quinn [Obvious reasons aside] 'cause we didn't really know each other too well before we went out but neither did me and Rachel. Not really. [Oh, he didn't mean to... keep talking]

[Welp. Good to know.] You act like you're getting married or something, not just dating someone in high school. That's not a bad thing, just... interesting.

Well, actually-- [Nope. Stop right there Finn] Never mind. Um, what do you mean by interesting?

[He'll remember that for later.] Most kids in high school don't think about getting married so early? Or, okay, no, that's not exactly true. My friend went to this school in a really small town, and a lot of them were farmers or mechanics or something, and they tended to propose to their girlfriends early because their football team lost the championships or something. Something like a reflex, you know? Try to hold on tight to what you have because you're not sure anymore about the future.

But like... you wouldn't see that in my school. I went to a big school in the city, and no one would be caught dead getting married before graduating, or right after graduating. Everyone had like... back up plans for their back up plans, you know? So it's just interesting.

I don't really think marriage before graduation is really that big of a thing in McKinley either. Well, at least it hasn't been since I've been there. I guess I get it, though, the whole clinging to something good in your life when everything else seems to be falling apart.

Sometimes, you just want to be with someone so much that you don't care about anything else.

Yeah, I can sorta sympathize with that.
