I bet I'm not the only one who's glad that's over. [A giggle.]
And just in time for Thanksgiving, too! My first one. It smells really amazing in here already, too. Since we didn't have any turkeys, especially not any exploding—

I'm really excited, though. I think it's important to have stuff like this. I mean, there's a lot to be thankful for. N-Not that we shouldn't be thankful every day! But maybe a special day for it is good, too.
It'll be my first Halloween here in a few weeks too. I know you're supposed to dress up and give out candy to little kids, but I don't really know much about it other than that. It doesn't seem very fun, just sitting in your house in a costume, I guess. I'm probably missing something, though.

I know you probably won't agree with me, but I think when you've got life easy as little lord phancy-pants, someone's gotta give you a hard time. You know. So you don't go around thinking you're better than everybody, having servants and a mansion and cars to get driven around in ....
I get jealous about it sometimes, you know? It's like he takes those things for granted, then goes and tries to be as big a Sissy as possible. It's embarrassing. Even if he's a decent person. So I've gotta stay in his case about it.

That's not... Joe, it's not really my place to say why, and I know it must seem different for someone who doesn't know him as well, but things really aren't easy for him at all. He's going through a lot, and I don't think he thinks he's better than everyone.
I can get being jealous, but even if he were a bad person, bothering him about it wouldn't help anything, you know? It would just make him act meaner. If you want to make sure he doesn't take anything for granted, maybe you could talk to him about it and be polite.

He isn't a snot, though! He can be rude sometimes, yeah, but I think it might be because you act the same way towards him. Maybe if you both tried to be civil things would be different.
Do you know how many people he lets stay in that mansion for free? I don't even have to pay for my own food or rent or anything. He really is a good person.

I don't know, but you don't have to talk to him if you can't stop yourself from being rude. And it's not just me, either, there are lots of people staying there for free. He even lets Dad's boss stay, and he doesn't even like him.
Anyways, why does me being a good person make it less generous of him to let me stay?

Because who would ever not give you a free place to stay! If you ever got kicked out of fancy-palace, you'd have a free place on our couch as long as you wanted.
But we don't have four cars. And we don't have servants to make us cake. And me and Roxas and Xion all work really really hard- Namine too, at her schoolwork.
So it's not fair at all.

It's not like I'm some flawless person who everybody would jump to do stuff for, you know! I'm not better than the other people who live here. I know you would always let me stay, and I'm really glad about that, because it means you're a good friend! But he is too.
My Dad isn't a servant to him. I really am sorry you don't have the same things he does, though. I know you work hard, and so I know none of it is fair. But just because someone has more than you doesn't mean you should treat them badly.
