[ Well being without a job again kinda sucks. Ella's got the NV on as well, jotting things down on a separate sheet of paper. ]

So... I haven't really been looking at the newsfeed lately, but - being that I'm currently jobless and Meg is the only breadwinner at the moment, I really need to find some work. Any suggestions, or ope-

[ She breaks off as she hears someone at the door, and immediately narrows her eyes. ]

[ Ella picks up a familiar looking vase.]

[ Well that's one command she's glad slipped through her interruptions, turning her attention to the stairs, whistling sharply. ]

Kyra! An Intruder!

NO!

[ This statement is followed by the sound of Ella's pet wolf hurtling down the stairs with a snarl, and then Hattie's voice screaming something as the wolf chases her out. Tensely, Ella walks over to peer outside, before returning to her NV. ]

And apparently I now need a locksmith.

Oh goodness no, no breaking windows, at least not today.

[Hattie notices the hesitation. Not wanting to lose her chance, she speaks more reasonably.]

Tell you what, we'll do this one step at a time. You may try reasoning with her, but I want you to keep an eye out for a chair in the foyer; my keys are on it. If you can't convince her, at least get me those, and I'll keep my part of the bargain.

[That's good to know; if it comes to that, Hattie will consider that option. In the meantime Eponine is looking increasingly useful for future mischief, and it makes the blonde smile.]

Hmn.. I think that is a fine plan. If you'd like, you have permission to villainize me, it'd make sense to her that I would have gone on a rampage.

I will say, Madame... if you do not mind... that you shouted and pushed me over when I could not help you - and now you have hurt my foot. And whilst she perhaps will fetch a bandage - or the money I ask for - or even her wolf to chase me away, I will steal your keys.

[She bobs a very quick curtsey to Hattie.]

I will go now, Madame, and knock on the door. So you must hide and I will come back later.Where will you go so I can give you your keys?
