The Port has changed, since I left, of course - society always changes - but, oh, the people, water is still water even when it flows or freezes. Isn't impressive, really. Fairly tiring.

But...hello, my name is Jack, and I don't ponder a lot.

[He sighs a little.] Except...does anybody know where I can get a pair of lovebirds? Or...maybe a juvenile dragon?

It's a little rowdy, and it likes to surprise people by descending from vents. Mischievous brat. [Affectionate.]

Like cats, though, I don't think you can tame dragons. You sort of...convince them to like you enough not to set you on fire.
