[ Hello Network, you're treated to a close-up of a single charcoal eye before the person who it belongs to moves back, revealing a young boy with messy black hair that's kept in place with a headband. His left eye is covered with a bandage and he has a very puzzled, uncertain expression on his face. ]

Is this thing on? [ The screen goes blurry for a moment as he taps his NV before he seems to notice something and stops. ]

I was told this reaches some sort of network? [ If his expression is anything to go by, he doesn't... really get it, but he's pressing on regardless, suddenly a bit hopeful. ] And that maybe I could find someone I know on this. So I figured I should introduce myself so uh... Hey, I'm Obito Uchiha of the Uchiha clan from Konohagakure. [ Have an awkward wave and although he tries to keep a cool expression, he's failing because WOW this is uncomfortable and awkward. It's like talking to a mirror or something.

There's a long pause as he tries to figure out what next to say. ]

I've already been explained some things, so there's no need for that I guess. There's only one thing I'm wondering about though... [ He hesitates again for a moment. ] Does anyone remember dying before they came here?

[ And now it just got more awkward. Quickly: ] Uh, that's all! [ OBITO OUT. ]

[ He quickly bows his head in return. ]

It's nice to meet you, Mr. Creed. That sounds very important.

We're trying to make it important. [He smirks, just a little.] Unfortunately, the relations between the Newcomers and the citizens of the port has not always been the best, as much as we might like it to be. So, we're working on it, just as we're working on improving the life of every new person who arrives.

[ He nods his understanding, impressed. ]

That's amazing. But why do the citizens hate us?

None of the reasons make sense, I should warn you. They think we're here to take their jobs, that we will hurt them. That there is something wrong with us, since many of us who die here come back from the dead, through no fault of our own.

You end up hating what you fear, and we're trying to show them that there is nothing to fear.

No, it... kind of makes sense? Sort of. It's really not fair, but I get it.

It's understandable, but it's also a problem. A very large problem, which we hope to fix soon. Some of us have made a life here, more then we have back home.
