[Mary has found herself in a small store with electronic keyboards. Her eyes aren't visible from the way the NV is positioned so anyone watching might believe it's KOS-MOS rather than the woman she shares her body with.
She'd never had any involvement with music in the Ancient Lost Jerusalem Era, and KOS-MOS hadn't either in the future , but Mary had made a point of looking up information on her NV on how to play. Fingers lightly touched across the keys until she started playing. And when she finishes, she says very softly:]
I like this instrument.
Music makes people happy, doesn't it?

Initially, I was built to protect humanity from the Gnosis. The Gnosis are not here but I intend to protect others just as well as if it were Gnosis that threatened the lives here.

What do you mean, you were built? [ A beat. ] And what's a 'Gnosis'?!

I am not human, Miss von Karma. I am an android. Specifically, an Anti-Gnosis Annihilation Weapon. And Gnosis are creatures that reside in Imaginary Space and are capable of interacting with Real Space, where we reside. They are hostile towards humanity and unless drawn into Real Space, humans cannot fight them and whether they are drawn here or not, humans cannot physically touch them without dying.

Creatures, you say. Like the monsters that come out at night, here?
voice;
Similar but not quite. These creatures to not threaten humanity as a whole.

[Her eyes change back to red now. This is KOS-MOS's territory.]
Gnosis are capable of interacting with Real Space at any given time and in any location in the universe. However, as I have mentioned, humans are incapable of combating them until they are drawn completely into Real Space. A single touch from one Gnosis to a human will kill the human or initiate a change in them, causing them to become a Gnosis as well.
