Fourth Snowfall: [video/action]

[Snow is sitting outside, carefully weaving straw together to form a doll. It's something she's done so many times to pass the long hours. When she's finished she says a quiet prayer]

God, watch over us as we face whatever comes. Give me strength to endure the dark days. Guide me to my purpose. There must be some reason why I am here.

[she closes her eyes, not really noticing if anyone is watching her]

[Kevin had been dragged out here. He'd had a pretty good clip going on his art, but Mimsy needed time to run and she'd grabbed her leash, and then sat under his feet until he came out.

He tosses the ball for her and she goes running off. It rolls to a stop next to a young woman with something in her hands. Mimsy forgets the ball and stops to sniff the thing in her hands.

HELLO! IS IT BACON?]

MIMSY!

[She looks over her shoulder, but looks back at the young woman and sits down, her tail thumping against the ground. HELLO!]

[her face softens at the sight of the dog, reaching out her hand to gently pet]

Hello.

[southernreaper]

[Mimsy's ears prick and her tail thumps harder. She scoots closer, resting her head on the pretty lady's knee. HELLO!]

MIMSY!

[A soft sigh. YOU WILL GIVE ME BACON?]

[towerlocked]

[she searches in her pockets. No, she doesn't have any bacon]

Your owner is calling you, I think.

[southernreaper]

[Mimsy blinks. YOU SAY WORDS! Her tail thumps on the ground a bit harder.]

Mimsy did ya get...

[Kevin stops, stuffing his hands into his pockets, seeing Mimsy with her head on someone's knee. Betrayed by his dog.]

Oh, beggin' ya pardon, Miss. I didn't mean fer m'dog to bother ya.

[DADDY! IT IS A PRETTY LADY! Mimsy doesn't move her head from Snow's knee.]

She is no bother to me, sir. I am enjoying her company. [she scratches behind Mimsy's ears lovingly]

[PUPPY CATATONIA IS GO. Ear scraaaaatches. Mimsy will never move now.]

Oh, ya ain't gotta call me, sir, Miss. M'name's Kevin.

[Frau may be a bishop, but his faith isn't very strong. In fact, it's pretty much non-existent. Has been for awhile. So those words, in a way very similar to what he tells other people, prick his interest.]

You seem to have quite a bit of faith and understanding.

[At the moment, Ven is outside himself, taking a walk during his break from work. The area is quiet, so as Ven passes a few feet behind Snow White, it's easy for him to hear her prayer.

He stops looking around and seeing no one other than the little doll she has woven together. Intrigued, he strolls up behind her and laces his fingers together behind his head.]

Who are you talking to?

I was praying.

Praying? To who?

[towerlocked]

To God. Or... the god of my world. Even if He can't hear me, it comforts me.

Are you sad about something?

[towerlocked]

Yes, I am. There are people dear to me that I long to see.
