Video: A video about important things!

[The feed turns on to reveal a giant blue eye, staring directly into the camera. It blinks, before a feminine voice is heard.]

Okay. I think it is working now.

[The eye pulls away from the camera to reveal the youthful face of Flonne.]

I want to speak today about something that is very close to my heart. Something reaaally important. Even more important then giant robots, so you know that it is pretty darned important. That is, of course, heroes! A giant robot can't save the day without its heroic pilot after all, and without people to stand against it, evil would always triumph! And that would be just awful. I imagine even the evil people wouldn't like a world where they always triumphed. I mean, what fun would that be? But that is is beside the point!

[The angel shakes her head.]

The sad truth though is that a lot of people that call themselves heroes just aren't all they are cracked up to be. I've met several in my time. The Defender of Earth...well, he wasn't SO bad in the long run. Not like the Prism Rangers. I want to root for them, but their seven lights just don't spring to the task nearly well enough! I don't feel inspired, I just want to pat them on the head. And don't even get me started on the Unlosing Ranger. That guy is just totally false advertising. But aaaanyway, you don't need to dress in flashy costumes to do heroic things. It helps, but it isn't necessary. Like this, for instance!

[The camera draws back a little, revealing a kitten sitting on her desk. It is currently engaged in a game of swat the rabbit with Flonne's pet bunny, who looks none too pleased with the fact.]

I found this cute little kitty in a tree earlier, and took it upon myself to rescue him! I named him Fluffington von Furrystein. It was sort of not that heroic I guess, since I have wings and all, but other people were just being mean and leaving poor Fluffington stranded in that tree! Of course I found out how he got there not long after I got him home.

[The kitten, bored of assaulting the rabbit, suddenly seems to turn gravity off and begins to hover over the desk, spinning lazily like a kitty astronaut.]

..Yeah, like that. I'd never seen a flying cat before, but I guess they exist! But I lost track of what I was talking about. What was it? Oh yeah. Let me finish with two questions, since I'm curious and haven't talked to people for awhile. What does the word 'hero' mean to you? To me, it is someone that does the right thing, even when it seems hard. A flashy costume makes it more interesting though! Oh, and the other question..umm..does anyone want to adopt a flying cat? I've already got a pet, so as much as I want to, I can't keep him.

Oh, a witch's cat? How cute! I knew some witches back home. They were all pretty easy going. But its also a little sad. I bet this kitty cat doesn't have his witch anymore, otherwise she would have come to find him already. Poor flying kitty.

C- Cute? That's not cute at all, Flonne, don't you get it? Even if his mistress isn't around anymore, he's clearly still cursed! You should get rid of it!

Huh? Why would it be cursed? Its just a kitty. It is soft and fluffy and likes to be pet!

[Palm to face. You're tearing her apart, Flonne!]

Being soft and fluffy has nothing to do with it, it's the pet of a witch, of course it has a curse on it! It's very existance is an evil omen! If you handle it incorrectly even you'll have bad luck!

This isn't your Sir Fluffington, Flonne, it's a harbringer of misfortune!

I..I don't understand! Its just a kitty. Do you not like witches or something? I mean, all it means to be a witch is that you can use magic, right? You don't have to run around with a pointy hat and warty skin and be mean. All the witches I've ever met were super laid back and easy to get along with. Most of them would rather cuddle up in bed with a cat then use it to curse someone.

I do not! [...] Well, there was one I met here that was all right. She knew how to make costumes.

But that's besides the point, where you're from they're likely fine, but here they're pure evil! One of my friends is a magical girl who slays witches.. With a chainsaw! They're that bad!

Anyway, if you're so intent on doing a good deed, perhaps you can get him uncursed by a priest. There's no way anyone is going to take care of that beast otherwise.

..Wait just a second. Did you just say you know a magical girl who kills witches with a CHAINSAW?!

.....I am not sure how I feel about that. I mean, on one hand, its a magical girl! That is good! But what sort of magical weapon is a chainsaw? That just doesn't seem magical girly enough for me at all. Unless its a pretty pink chainsaw that also shoots hearts and sparkles, then I guess its okay.

Yes I did, it is rather impressive! You were right about magical girls, they are quite interesting. [...] Though.. Um. Hmn, I never did think to ask if their weapon did that.

.. That sounds rather strange, do hearts and sparkles really harm witches? I suppose if it's common of magical weapons..

Well, hearts and sparkles don't actually hurt witches I don't think. They are essential for a good magical girl, though! They give you style!

It's been a few months now, hasn't it? How are you holding up so far?

It has been surprisingly boring. I haven't been able to meet a lot of people yet, and one of the ones I did is gone now. And I miss my giant robot of justice, too.

[Hattie twists her lips sympathetically, if there's one thing she can relate to with Flonne is the loss of a friend.. And precious items!]

Hmn yes, I know what you mean, it's taken time for me to find a crowd that I fit in with myself. Though really, I haven't the slightest idea what kind of company an angel would normally keep!

Hmmnn.. If you could find enough parts, Sidra could probably build a small robot of justice for you. You could call him 'Roboy the Small' or something.

Well, an ordinary angel generally keeps company with other angels. It isn't prejudice or anything, its just all that normally lives in Celestia. But I, the great Archangel Flonne, am anything but ordinary!

[Something Hattie could surely agree with.]

So I've got friends of all different sorts. But most of them are back home. It is really you and Ella that I know best here, and I haven't spent a great deal of time with either of you.

And also, it would clearly be Great Flonzor Jr.!

Y- Yes, I.. Whole-heartedly agree, Flonne. Anything but ordinary indeed. And, really, you've seen pretty much all you need to see when it comes to Ella, I'm the far more interesting one!

[She nods, and even she can't help but chuckle at the name.]

Very well, I'll see if I can arrange to have Sidra pay a visit sometime; but as I said before, you're going to need to find your own parts. Oh and blue prints. Is that do-able?

Hmmmm. Well, I have to admit that I am not that good with things like that. That is why I had someone else build the robot before. It might be a little bit of a problem. But not one I cannot beat!

Oh I see! Well, that's not a huge deal, it will probably just cost you a little more money, that's all! Don't worry, we'll work it out somehow.

[Mmnnn. Money. But where could she get parts for cheap?]

Yes, just leave it to me and I'll set up a meeting for us! I'll talk to you a little later, all right?
