You could give people weird orders like 'everyone must wear a pink tutu and a top hat and dance for me at 3pm' but it would get old pretty fast.

Well, that would be the point. Especially if you got some really proud and haughty people who were used to commanding respect. But like I said - it would get old pretty fast.
