Video: Fifth Trick

[The video kicks on and Loki is sitting cross legged on a roof, view of buildings in the background behind him, the NV is propped up so the view is at an angle. The hood of his zip front sweatshirt pulled over his face, casting a shadow. Green eyes fairly glow from under the shade of that hood. He's smiling and it's just a bit sharp, a bit smug as he carefully plucks up and eats a blue M&M from a bowl of entirely blue M&M's, a can of Redbull held loosely in his right hand.]

Blizzard.

Rather inconvenient. [The smile grows more sly.] For some people, anyway.

For others, well, perhaps it is better that some of us are on the straight and narrow. [A grinning pause] Mostly.

[He pops another blue M&M into his mouth, chewing silently while he considers]

Boring, boring, boring. The walls are closing in. You know what happens then? Some real fun. Not yet, but soon. You'll know when it starts.

[Loki will be amused and in his book, that's what counts most.]

[He's used to Odin, who decreed Loki would cause Ragnarok. And then, in order to prevent Loki from causing Ragnarok, disemboweled one of Loki's sons, tied Loki to a rock using said son's intestines and let a serpent drip poison into his eyes for a few hundred years in one of his lifetime.]

[He's not quite as bad as Odin, but the island is also very small.]

Excellent.

[Loki's aces at avoiding people. Even on a small island. Besides, he'd do the cute big eyed apology thing. That works on most people.]

[Change of topic, yes.]

Depends on how long ice raptor laser tag lasts. But I could make time.

[Raptors are always a good subject change.]

This would be after Sirens. Sunday evening, perhaps?

Ah yes, you had mentioned him before. Quite interested in meeting him.

Ah! I do find that quite interesting, especially given that he was a viking. Usually they were all grr argh, thinking is for girly men.

[He's going to be laughing too hard to answer for a minute, excuse him.]

Yes. Mind, I like him - lightning and I are flames and a moth - but I wouldn't want him as my mission planner.

I was always the strategist of our childhood and young adult adventures. Thus our lack of dying, being eaten or sold into slavery.
