Video: Fifth Trick

[The video kicks on and Loki is sitting cross legged on a roof, view of buildings in the background behind him, the NV is propped up so the view is at an angle. The hood of his zip front sweatshirt pulled over his face, casting a shadow. Green eyes fairly glow from under the shade of that hood. He's smiling and it's just a bit sharp, a bit smug as he carefully plucks up and eats a blue M&M from a bowl of entirely blue M&M's, a can of Redbull held loosely in his right hand.]

Blizzard.

Rather inconvenient. [The smile grows more sly.] For some people, anyway.

For others, well, perhaps it is better that some of us are on the straight and narrow. [A grinning pause] Mostly.

[He pops another blue M&M into his mouth, chewing silently while he considers]

Boring, boring, boring. The walls are closing in. You know what happens then? Some real fun. Not yet, but soon. You'll know when it starts.

And yes, mortal slang. How dismissive of you, sir. Anyway, I love intoxicating substances--the more intoxicating, the better--only why can't you just do up some more of it?

What can I say? Mortal slang falls in and out of fashion, sometimes it is interesting to keep up and sometimes not. Mm. I can make more of it, but I've no reason to right now.

Just about anything that you can imagine, if you don't mind the broadness of that statement.

I can imagine a lot of things. A lot of interesting things. But I don't plan on sharing. At least, not without visiting them upon the entirety of the city.

Nope. Not good enough.

Yes, but how are you ever going to know what it is that interesting things include for me if you don't give me some suggestions, eh? I have a whole store of interesting things. I love interesting things. And one of the best parts of 'em is sharing.

Oh, very well. Perhaps I'll just do it for myself.

Mm. Fine then, I plan on, in the near future, enchanting all of the snow so anything built in it becomes animate. Not harmful, but of course, that is what I'm going for.

You can do that? What sort of wizard are you?

[He considers this, with an expert air.] That's not bad. That's pretty good. Will you keep control of it, or d'you plan to let it run amok?

And I'm the best sort of wizard that there is. I can do nearly anything, as I've said.

I plan on letting it run amok, of course. It's more fun that way. Besides, how scary can a snow tyrannosaurus rex be? One could defeat it with a hair dryer. In theory.

Can you walk between the worlds?

Touché, sir. I couldn't agree more. Though it'd have to be a massive hairdryer, else it would take hours and hours--but I s'ppose melty teeth don't really lend themselves to being much of a threat, either.

[Without missing a beat:] Well, I'm here, aren't I.

One with skills in fire or water manipulation might have great success peddling their services to the worried folks, or simply playing the hero by melting said pointy teeth, as well.

You came here on purpose? There is a difference between purposeful world walking and being taken.

And let me guess, you just so happen to be a fellow skilled in both of those disciplines? Or perhaps you know someone who is, perhaps that's your angle.

God of Fire is one of my titles, but no, I intend to enjoy myself rather than scam. Some of us are trying to be well behaved, after all.
