She had been meaning offer jobs at the Cats Eye Cafe, thus I'm going to do so in her stead. It was delayed for a while since there didn't seem to be a good time, and while a perfect time may have yet to appear, the Cafe is looking for new waiters, waitresses, and a management position.

Yes. A dear friend. I'd like to keep her business afloat in case the Core should see fit that she returns later on, but I'm afraid I'm a little in over my head when it comes to managing a cafe like that.

But it seems time passes different here than in other places.

I've spoken with a handful of those who leave and return. The passage of time does indeed move differently between the port and their realities. I haven't quite discovered if it moves the same relative to those who experience the distortion, however.

It doesn't, not that I know of. It's as this place exists outside of the normal space-time and is able to draw people in from not only different worlds but different times at will.

So far the only limit I've encountered is that it refuses to hold two of the same person from different times.

If you need any help, I can pitch in. It's really not that hard. Just keep the supply and demand high, and listen to what the customers are saying. You want to please them, but you want to keep happy workers. Without the workers in the business, it'll die really quick.
