[Here's Kurt, looking much healthier than before, though still a bit scrawny and pale from the illness. His attitude is bright and cheery, though, and he offers a big smile.]

Hello everyone! I hope you're all feeling better. This is my obligatory 'checking-in' entry-- Please let me know how you're all doing, if you can spare a moment. Things really have been insane lately, and not even in the interesting reality t.v. way. [Clears his throat.]

Which brings me to my second point. As Mr. Creed previously announced, the NPP Block Party is taking place this coming weekend. So many people are stepping in to help, and I want to thank each and every one of you. It's not to late to sign up, though, if anyone else wishes to promote their business or offer a hand.

[He clasps his hands together and looks hopeful.] I sort of see this festival as an opportunity for the Newcomer community to come together and kind of...prove our worth here in the Port, if that makes sense. Maybe it'll help resolve some of the tension between us and the other citizens, if we can mingle and celebrate together--and even if it doesn't, it'll still be fun.

No, don't be nervous! [Man, he didn't mean to mess this one up.]

Hold on. [And he switches this over to private.]

I was talking to Blaine, and we were talking about you, and the living situation. That maybe you shouldn't be living alone, especially with everything that's happened. We have an extra room, now that Cass is gone. The biggest room, actually, and there's no one to take it, and eventually, if things go... you know, go well, with you and Blaine, then you can move in together.

[He's quiet for a while. Oddly, only one thing sticks out in his mind.]

He-- He said he wanted to live with me again?

Whoa, wait, no. Living together with other people, yeah. Not living together alone. He just wants to take things slow, which I don't blame him for.

O-oh, right. Right. Of course. I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to be snippy. I just didn't want there to be miscommunication because of me. I thought he'd asked you, already...can you please not tell him I told you?

...I know it probably doesn't sound appealing, to live with a bunch of other guys. But I make sure there's always food, and I'm kind of a control freak, so it all needs to be cleaned. The main room, anyway. And you'd have your own bedroom, and you can do whatever you want with it. All of Cass' stuff has been taken down already. Most of us are working all the time, so we're not around a lot. But when we are, it's nice to hang out.

[He's trying not to sound hopeful.]

I appreciate the offer. I'll check when my lease is up and let you know, okay?

[It's a lie; he knows when his lease is up. Living with a bunch of guys doesn't sound appealing through. It sounds sort of threatening, actually, but there's absolutely no way to express that without offending Tim. So he just fakes a smile and nods before changing the subject.]

And Tim? I really--need to thank you. For being such a good friend to Blaine. I honestly can't thank you enough.

Yeah, no, don't worry about it. I know Blaine thought it was a good idea, but that doesn't mean you have to do it.

[He smiles slightly.] You don't need to thank me. He's helped me out with more things then I've helped him with. He's a really good friend, he's just... easy to talk to.
