Seventeenth Frost -- Accidental Video

[When the feed comes on, it’s pretty clear it’s not on purpose. The screen is mostly looking up at the sky, though the corner of it seems to catch something made of ice. Just off screen, a pair of voices can be heard arguing.]

Get off me, stupid.

No. I like it here. You're comfy.

[An indignant huff.] Well, you're not. Move; I can't do anything like this.

You don't have to do anything. Just lay there and stay still. [Sounds of shuffling.] Is that better?

No. You know I hate that. I said get off, Bedwetter.

My bed's been dry for AGES!

Only because you've barely been in it the past two weeks. [A sound like there’s some sort of physical struggle going on.

[And then a thud.] Ow! Shirou-chan, you're being too rough!

[The feed cuts about here, perhaps fortunately.]

[ amaterasu is making her way to where hinamori should be-- it was the girl's birthday, after all! the wolf doesn't go straight there, for first, she had wanted to get the shinigami a gift-- one she had to sniff out and dig for, now hidden away in her astral pouch.

when the goddess nears, the death gods should be able to feel her energy close-- maternal, warm, large-- as she senses theirs, following her nose and her senses.

once she finds the right door, she sits right in front of it and waits. ]

[Hinamori feels the goddess' energy as she approaches and comes out to greet her. A polite bow, and then she stands with her hands clasped together in front of her.] You didn't have to come all this way just for me.

[ oh, but she did! she did because she wanted to.

she stands on her hind legs to shower hinamori with a few sloppy licks, before amaterasu sets herself down. right! she had a gift!

digging through her astral pouch, the wolf gently drags out a bundle of plants, fresh from being dug out from the dirt, all it's roots and stems and tiny little flower buds intact.

she sets it down on the floor, nudging it with her nose. it was still a bit dirty, from the earth, but that was okay! those flowers could use a little pot, my dear. ]

[Hinamori starts in frightened surprise when the wolf hoists herself up to her face, but she's soon laughing easily as the licking continues.]

[She crouches down to pick up the plant with both hands. They're so beautiful, and tiny—full of promise and hope for the future. That's...perfect.] I'll go find a pot and some water.

[She heads around the house to the backyard.]
