Seventeenth Frost -- Accidental Video

[When the feed comes on, it’s pretty clear it’s not on purpose. The screen is mostly looking up at the sky, though the corner of it seems to catch something made of ice. Just off screen, a pair of voices can be heard arguing.]

[An indignant huff.] Well, you're not. Move; I can't do anything like this.

You don't have to do anything. Just lay there and stay still. [Sounds of shuffling.] Is that better?

My bed's been dry for AGES!

Only because you've barely been in it the past two weeks. [A sound like there’s some sort of physical struggle going on.

[And then a thud.] Ow! Shirou-chan, you're being too rough!

[ Suitably quiet for a few seconds, impressed. ]

Wow - that's a beauty. Where in the world did you find someone who could make something like that...?

[All calm and casual:] I made it.

[ella_of_frell]

No way - [ She cuts herself short. Seriously, he wouldn't fib about something like that. But she's even more impressed now. ]

How long did it take you?

[Shrug.] Around an hour and a half, to get all the details right.

I didn't know you had a talent for ice sculpture. But I suppose it isn't too much of a surprise, given how much you like the cold. No wonder Hinamori was happy.

It's just something I dabble in occasionally. [And writes a column about back home. But that's an unnecessary detail.]

Got out of the hospital on Friday. [Read: before the cure was at all available to Newcomers.]

On Friday? [ Yeah she sounds a little bit puzzled. If the cure wasn't even available to newcomers then, did someone sneak a cure to him? Did he recover on his own? Did it really matter? ]

Well I don't have to guess at how glad you must be to be out of there and in your home. I won't keep you though. [ He probably had more plans with Momo for her birthday after all. ]
