[[OOC: Permissions post here for those who want to opt into his typing quirk. Otherwise I reply with plain Courier.]]
whitefeathered: (to cry out)

Something Aoko should likely not ask.

. . . Whose body??

[Well, he is in a hospital, after all. There's a morgue.]

((ooc: I'm sure this wasn't what either of us had in mind for their first meeting, but I wanted to take you up on them meeting. XD; Video if you want her to catch onto the wings at this point?))

. . .

. . .

Who makes that kind of offer to get out of a hospital?

((ooc: S'okay. :) Congratulations!! And if it doesn't come up, I'll see what I can do on my end too.))
whitefeathered: (to peer)

I can see the black easier, but can deal with either.

. . .

Yet you're in the pediatric ward. How old are you, anyway?

[Wait. Feathery figure?]
whitefeathered: (to annoy)

No worries!

[A flash of video in reply. This look, right here. Feathers or not, she might give up on this conversation -- though maybe she also hopes he'll return the video feed and she can see for herself.]

[The downside of the live feed, though, is that Aoko sees him for what he is -- just a boy. . . . Albeit a kind of orange one.]

[On her end, still that face -- though a definite and immediate flicker of curiosity with the feathers. But she would have to go carefully. For the moment, a flat,]

Who knows? Maybe you're dead after all.

[Nothing special about being a Japanese schoolgirl. Pervert.]

. . . You have wings.

[. . . Tell her why she was dealing with this idiot, again?]

Look, you can languish in bed if you want. Be bored as you want. Or you can remember that you're the one yelling out into the void for some kind of escape.

And no, this isn't literal, before you point it out, but I'm sure it's almost halfway better than counting ceiling tiles.

[A breath, trying to resettle herself.]

If you prefer company, I might have questions. If you prefer the tiles, you know, enjoy.

[Better. . . . Maybe. Jury was still out.]

18/f/apartment elsewhere. If it matters.

[Now that she has the free space, she's tentative about asking. But she's come this far, so she pushes on.]

. . . Did you always have them? The feathers, I mean. The wings.
whitefeathered: (to be skeptical)

[personal profile] whitefeathered 2012-06-10 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
. . . What?

[There's a high probability here that he's being weird again.]
whitefeathered: (to speak)

[personal profile] whitefeathered 2012-06-10 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
Oh . . .

[That raises a lot of questions. Like . . . what exactly was this flashy ball of light? Why did he jump in after a crow?]

[Still, she's quiet for some moments, her eyes slipping away from the screen.]

. . . Did you want to, then? Change. Or . . . ?
whitefeathered: (white feather)

[personal profile] whitefeathered 2012-06-12 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
[That was very . . . honest. More so than she expected from someone trying to sell his body to get out of a hospital. She's quiet for a long moment.]

I think it's amazing. That you can even start to look at it like that.

[A pause.]

. . . Do you think you could ever change back?

Is that something you want?
whitefeathered: (la fille bleue)

[personal profile] whitefeathered 2012-06-13 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
[It sounds like there's a lot of bitterness there that Aoko is not sure she should touch . . . even though she feels it grate over her skin like a rasp. Again she is silent.]

'M sorry.

For what it's worth . . . it sounds like you did something really good.

Even if it cost a lot.

[And because she almost feels as though she owes him now . . . tentatively she tugs up a sleeve, revealing one, then two of the dark feathers rooted into her skin.]

'S why I was asking. If I asked too much . . . 'm sorry.

I don't think they would. At least in my world. People worry so much about getting hurt that they don't take the trouble. Or they don't have the bravery.

'M not sure if I would.

[She flushes slightly at the mention of her feathers, tugging on one.]

I guess I kind of hoped you might know how to get rid of them. Or something. I don't know.

[It seems silly in retrospect. Just because he has feathers doesn't mean he could have any knowledge of hers.]
