[It takes some fumbling around, but eventually Anders thinks that he does have the strange magical amulet working like he was told that it would. Well, presuming that this isn't a strange plan to make him feel like a fool, that is. He does wonder that part a little as he clears his throat and offers a bright smile to whoever might be watching him.]

While I'm still rather new to this whole 'kidnapped from everything you know' bit and trying to get used to it all, one thing I can tell is when a healer might come in handy. Now I might be reading this wrong, but it seems like there's a bit of an illness going around, yes? I haven't had the chance to find out much more than that, but... I'd like to help, if I can.

[He shrugs and his smile edges just a little towards being nervous.]

I don't know what sorts of opinions people have on mages and magic here either, but hopefully no one's about to go running to the Chantry to turn me in? Or at least be the type to give a man a head start first, I hope.

[It feels strange to try and talk to something that can't answer so, with a sigh and a small amount of fumbling with the amulet, Anders manages to turn off the feed.]

You're a god? [Suuure you are, Loki.] Well I suppose if I was going to be a god, I'd want it to be of all night parties as well.

[Or if he was going to claim to be one, anyway. But he can talk about the pranks he used to indulge in back in the Circle easily enough.]

Oh, all kinds of things! I once convinced the templars that there were secret passages in and out of the tower. Had them pressing their ears to the walls for weeks trying to find them. It was hilarious!

Tsk. Do not sound so disbelieving. Or I might give you a demonstration.

[He huffs and crosses his arms.]

That is rather funny. How old were you? Anything else? Rain of frogs? Water to mead?

A demonstration? What of? Are you going to say you can turn water in mead now? Do something impressive and god-like?

[Yeah, he's not really taking Loki seriously at all now.]

If everyone here has magic and powers, then what's to say you're not just a kid thinking that makes him a god now?

Done that, it would be boring. And Jubilee told me I would have to scrub the grout to get the stains out from the pool.

[He's not sure whether this is an advantage or disadvantage here.]

Besides, I had my power before coming here. Why don't you do something interesting?

So, basically you're saying that you can't do anything? You're a powerless god? What's the point of a god who hasn't got any powers? Isn't it just like being a mortal?

Of course I have powers. I simply am not allowed to use them in the house or I have to clean up without using powers.

And even if that were the case, I'd not be as a mortal anyway. Longer lived. Neigh indestructible.

I thought you were a god of mischief? Now you're telling me that you can't do anything otherwise you'll be made to clean up your mess? Some mischief god you are.

You're just making the god thing up, aren't you? Trying to seem more impressive than you are. There's nothing wrong with just being a mage, you know.

Obviously not, magic is interesting. I simply happen to be more than a mage or a mortal.

Right, got it. 'Loki, god of mischief, must not do anything too mischievous in the house otherwise he gets in trouble'. [He pauses, deliberating on that information.] Who punishes a god anyway? Do you have god-parents? God-belts to give god-beatings if you don't?
