[Pearl Fey’s emotions don’t always show easily, but when they do, they’re usually related to ships Maya Fey. And while there are exceptions, today’s not one of them. The sullen, sad look that crosses her face today is definitely caused by circumstances involving her favorite cousin - as well as their roommate, Mr. Armando.

Anyway, she’s sitting on a bench in what looks like a hospital corridor. That’s already bad news, isn’t it? She frowns very deeply (pretzels drooping) and shakes her head sadly at the camera.]

Mystic Maya and Mr. Armando became very sick yesterday. We got them to the doctors safely, but...

[After a moment’s pause, she shakes her head fiercely from side to side!] I’m going to do my best to help the doctors make sure they’re comfortable! I’m still very -- [sneeze!] -- I’m still mostly healthy, and I’m going to stay by their side until they get better.

… Um, does anybody know about Mr. Armando’s pet kitty? and Mystic Maya’s bird! Vladimir and Artemis need to be fed, but I can’t go between the apartment and the hospital by myself. The plants need to be watered, too! [Someone please help a fretting girl out.]

[And then, drooping again, before she shuts off the video.] Poor Mystic Maya... poor Mr. Armando. I should have been more alert...

[Later, post-video, in Maya and Godot's room.]
[After making that announcement so those who know Mr. Armando and Maya will be in the know, Pearl’s going to be in their room watching over them worriedly. She tugs on blankets and sniffles, then perches herself on a chair and watches them with a frown

What did the doctors say?

[He puts a hand on Pearl's shoulder, but doesn't get up to go sit down, just yet. He'll go in and see Maya-san, but the doctors are looking after her. And Pearl seems to be here all by herself. Gods. Here by herself with her friends and family all hospitalized. A rare pang of sympathy hits him, and his free hand rubs uncomfortably at his stomach again.]

And what's mostly alright? Does your head hurt? Does your throat tickle? Do you feel dizzy?

I was told that it's just a really bad flu. [She smiles a little bit at Yosuke's hand on her shoulder. She knows it's to comfort her, and while it doesn't ease the worry bugs in her stomach, she's very grateful that he took the time to visit.] I'm coughing a little, and sneezing too. I think if I sleep enough, it won't get too bad.

It's really strange. But as long as the doctors are taking care of it, things will be fine, right?

[He gets to his feet again, now, but instead of letting go of Pearl's shoulder, he nudges her gently toward the chairs, too.]

That's good news. Why don't you rest for a bit? You must be tired too, and I don't mind keeping watch for a while. I don't have anywhere to be right now.

[Nudged, she nods to show her understanding and reaches up a hand for his arm, too, gently nudging him in return. He should sit with her, please?]

Thank you, but I want to stay by Mystic Maya's side. The doctors are good people, but I'm very worried about her. She's... [She's her only family 8C]

[There's not much else to say to that, but he follows along willingly and takes a seat with her.]

Thank you for coming, Mr. Yosuke! It's really so nice of you to. [A swing of her legs, biting her lip nervously.] Are any of your friends sick, too?

Besides Maya-San? Not that I know of. I guess I should check on them in a while to make sure.

The doctors said it's spreading very quickly. I think Mr. Jake got sick when we were bringing them here, too.

B-but the doctors are working really hard, so I'm sure it will be okay!

Uh! Yeah, of course.

[Right, don't make worried faces in front of scared little girls...]

[She nods very firmly.] Oh, are you thirsty or anything Mr. Yosuke? There's a jug of water inside the room.

Water...yeah, that sounds nice.

[He'd forgotten he ran part of the way there, but now that she reminds him, his throat is definitely a bit dry.]

I'll go get some for you! [She gets to her feet. She heard the doctors say touching the sick people got you sick, so she thinks it's best that Yosuke doesn't get too close to Mystic Maya and Mr. Armando just yet. Not until he's up to full health! The jug of water is covered, at least, so it's clean and she'll bring back a glass of water.]

[He chugs the whole thing in a couple of seconds, and rubs at his temples.]

Is there anything you needed but didn't have time to bring with you, Pearl-chan?

Uum... I didn't have a lot of things with me, so I think I'm all right. I've got some clothes and everything!

Do you need more water?

Good, okay. Huh? No. Thank you, but I'm fine.

[You know, mostly. Same as you.]

I don't mind if we just sit here for a little while. Waiting is hard by yourself, right? With someone else, it's a little easier.
