Oooo. This is just like out of one of those Sci-Fi shows, you know. How exciting. Can you all hear me? Well hello, hello there! ~☆

[Waves all friendly-like with a glass of wine in one hand, smiling winsomely.]

Good evening, good evening my dear friends. I do hope all of you are having a stellar evening, indeed. I'm…What is it they say? Newly Arrived? Oh, it's really all very strange. Very confusing. Why, I've been absolutely terrified!~

Also, I confess, a little exhausted.

[Fans himself briskly with one hand and sits up from what appears to be a posh-looking couch that most certainly wasn't in the Starter Apartments, letting forth a dramatic sigh.]

Well, since it appears we're going to be stuck here for a while why don't you let me tell you a little about myself so we might get to know each other better, hm?

My name is Pegasus J. Crawford, inventor of a wonderful card game called Duel Monsters, chairman and CEO of Industrial Illusions, and I come from America. California, to be specific. Ha, ha.~ It's a wonderful place, really.

[Giggles at that, as if telling the most amusing joke.]

But now that you know who I am, it's only fair that I should like to get to know all of you. So, boy do I have a little question for you, Siren's Port:

Do any of you like to play games? I invented one, you know. Maybe you could help lil' old me pass the time? A winner-take-all duel, you might say. The loser takes me out to dinner. Or, if you're so inclined, maybe show me around. I could really use a tour. How about it, hm?

Ha, ha. Have to play? No, it's not a requirement...I simply wished to see if I could share my joy with this world since it seems no one here has ever heard of Duel Monsters before.

Never heard of it before! But I'm always a big fan of games. Doesn't matter what kind.

How delightful. Would you be interested in giving it a try then? Granted, I will have to teach you.

Really, you'd teach me? I would love to learn! Is it hard the first time?

I would be happy to. I think once you know the basics, it's relatively simple.

[Smiles a little, his long hair slipping forwards as he leaned towards the screen.]

..I suppose I hadn't realized that no one had heard of it here given all sorts of people play it all around the world where I'm from. It truly is a different kind of place, this Siren's Port...

I'm used to everyone knowing my face, you see. It's a little strange being so...anonymous.

I had always wondered, you know, if there might be other worlds like mine. But, even so, does it not get a little lonely not having anything familiar to take comfort in?

Most worlds are the same! Just little tiny differences. [Grins.] Well... my brother is here. So if I ever get lonely, I can always go to him.

That must be nice...To have a brother. I was an only child.

I guess some of us aren't so lucky.

I guess so! I don't have just one brother, though! I have six siblings.

Happy family?

We have our ups and downs! My younger sister lost herself for a little bit. And my younger brother is missing. But if we need to, we'll figure things out.

[He's not exactly sure what she means by "lost", but...]

Nope! Just one other, my older brother, Destiny.

Destiny...? That's an interesting name for a man. I thought only women were named that.

[Yeah, he totally doesn't get it yet.]

[Giggles.] I don't know too many other men named Destiny. But our family has some weird naming system.

I'm not sure I follow what you mean by "naming system", but now you've got me a little curious.

Well... all of our names begin with D. Not that we know who even named us, but they all start with D.

Peculiar, certainly~!

A little bit! I guess you could say we're all some pretty crazy ideas. Or... one of us is kind of crazy, but none of us know what really happened with that one.
