Video/Dorian's new place

I don't expect too many of you are interested. But, I've changed residence. The 'starter' apartments for 'newcomers' was just too, too beastly!

I found a place. It's not what I'm used to, but it's tolerable. The house is old by the standards of this place, but I found it quite comfortable. It's been divided into little flats, and I'm in the second floor in the back west corner.

I did see some rot in the corner of the closet last night, but when I woke up this morning it didn't look so bad. So, I'm not worried.

If anyone is interested in visiting, I'll give you directions. I'm in the Northwest side of sector four, about half a mile from sector 9, and I can walk to the seaside if I want to. And, I like being closer to the school.

That's been my experience, yes. Of course that's what I expected. Either that or try to sell me opium then offer sex for money while I was under. One of the two. I assumed the latter would be more insulting.

So, to avoid any further confusion for you, perhaps you should learn to ask what people do for a living, or offer an interest in something that might entertain them, or even ask their opinion of nearby shops and restaurants without jumping to the conclusions that your rather outdated society led you to believe were proper.

See, if you had asked what I did for a living, I would have told you: "I'm a bartender and security guard at Lion's Gate. Perhaps you'd like to join me for a drink sometime." And then our civilized conversation could have gone on from there.

And it so happens I've, I've been here twelve weeks. What is 'outdated' by your standards are quite normal to mine. Forgive me if it takes longer than that to catch up with nearly two centuries.

Most of this year is perfectly beastly anyway.

I can agree with that. My grandfather recently passed and I've been dealing with those who either hated him or just refuse to believe that such a thing is true.
