[The feed turns on and Loki is drinking a Red Bull while he looks down at the NV, can in one hand, the device obviously in his other hand.]

Today is the same day as yesterday. This leads me to two very pertinent questions:

[He releases the NV to hold up one finger and the device floats up slightly level with his face] First question: Do the natives know about this?

[A second finger is peeled off his closed fist to join the first, two fingers held up] Second question: What is the probability of this happening tomorrow?

[The NV pans back slightly and Loki is standing in front of a jewelry store with a rather magnificent scepter and crown displayed. This does not bode well for our juvenile hero's moral choice system.]

[A long pause and then Loki is physically in front of her, throwing his arms around her and just hugging because literally, no one has ever said anything like that to him. Ever.]

[Youko was embarrassed that she said that. First, she had thought it would be easier for her to be around him if he wasn't so obvious on his felonies and pranks. What would people think about her by her association with him? But... she had come to worry for him. The exact isolation he felt, she too understood it. She had avoided it by being a good girl.

If he acted the same, he wouldn't be hated. He wasn't a bad person to be hated so much. He brought it to himself, but it wasn't fair.

It wasn't fair. She knew that.

That was the mixture of emotions she felt. The good and the bad swirling within her when she waited for an answer that didn't come.

Instead, he appeared out of blue and gave her a hug. Her eyes widdene in confusion.]

Not even Thor had said something like that to him. Not in either of the past lifetimes he remembered.

And maybe he didn't want to leave this place. Maybe it was selfish that he didn't want his friends to leave either.

[Youko didn't know how to have friends. She had 'friends' in school and she believes that was friendship, but it was different with Loki.

She had looked after him as if he was a family member, enough even to overlook his obvious strangeness. She felt comforted and more relaxed because he wasn't scrutinizing her all the time.

Slowly, Youko began to pat his back and head.]

L...Looks like it's something.

[His face is buried in your chest, just FYI, but he mutters out-]

That was just really... no one has ever said that to me before.

[Nobody has told me that either, Youko realized. But she thought that was what her parents thought about her. That was why they were worried about her future.

She blushed when she noticed where his head as leaned on and shook him off lightly to kneel before him.]

Maybe not, but they could have thought about it.

[Allows her to shake him off and kneel before him, he just smiles at her, an open, warm smile, not the usual sly or smug expressions]
