Well I was built to assume the laws of physics maintaining their operations so it's wrong to me and all my calculations are based on those assumptions and now I have cascading flaws everywhere.

Of course I can but it's not something that's ever supposed to need to be changed and all the calculations are interlinked and I just hacked the entire structure of it to change the base-data from Home's to Earth's and now it's wrong again and it's a bit like performing field surgery on yourself with a spork while having a seizure because all my observational modules are going haywire and it's all emergent-intermingled and that's what I think with.

And a cascading flaw is exactly what it sounds like, something that violates all the rules in the system and once it's in things start unraveling because you don't have the right info to base the next iteration on and it just goes and goes and I can dam the flood but it's not supposed to happen and it's very hard.
