[There's a short, blonde girl in the middle of the baseball diamond. She's dressed in a pretty pink dress. So she's.... a bit chilly. Not her focus at the moment though. She's yelling into her Pirate's Charm, now functioning as her NV.]

Link, you jerk! Where are you?! And where the heck is that King Daphnes blah-dee-blah guy at??

You jerks! You don't take me to some stupid castle and then abandon me someplace, just wait until I get my hands on you!

[Just... Raging eleven year old pirate princess. What do? She picks up a pair of swords and a bow from the ground and scowsl.]

At least I can fight now. Hmph, who needs the stupid Master Sword or a hero anyway?

[Hooking the swords around her waist and slinging the bow over her shoulder.]

[Eyes narrowing. Totally less threatening in a dress and makeup than if she was dressed like she'd usually be.]

[ The demon looks at the little girl... Suspiciously. He just don't know why she'd lie. maybe she comes from a far away land. But then, she could't know Link.

There must be a way to make sense of that. He eyes her dress. ]

Aaah, are you some kind of royalty my little girl?

[Plucking at her dress in disgust.]

Yeah, I am. I'm the last member of Hyrule's royal family, since the kingdom was sealed like a century ago. Why?

[ Hyrule... This sounds familiar, yet he never heard that name. He gotta dig here. ]

Yeah well, since the kingdom is gone then didn't need to keep giving the kids stupid names.

According to the legend, Ganondorf tried to take over. And since the Hero of Time never came back to beat him again, the people prayed to the Goddesses. In an answer to their prayers, they sent to people to the mountaintops and sealed the kingdom then made it rain until the kingdom was completely covered by the sea.

Ganondorf... Aaaah, sounds like such a beautiful name...Either way, those Goddesses are fool. Destroying the world they created to prevent a man from taking? Hmmm....

[Well that is a -pretty- dress, but.. The girl in it doesn't really match does she? She has spunk.. Far too much spunk. But her final comment is waht bothers Hattie.]

[Hattie seems to be at a loss for words for a moment. Only a moment.]

Well, even heroes can make mistakes. Especially if said hero is your age, wouldn't you agree?

[She seems doubtful, but that rough language makes her cringe.]

The Goddesses wouldn't make a mistake about choosin' their hero. He's even got the Master Sword, definitely Goddess blessed.

[Well, being raised by a pirate mother and a crew of pirates, she was lucky that this was as course as Tetra got.]

My mom died, if that's what ya mean. I got my hands busy keepin' my crew in line since then though.

I wasn't suggesting that the goddesses made a mistake. Besides, they aren't human. [Hattie knows at least that much.] It takes more than wielding an item of a diety to make someone perfect, that much is for certain.

[No mention of a father? She decides not to pry, but the girl has Hattie's sympathy. Mention of a crew seems normal to her. Unsettling, but normal.]

A -gang-? Oh.. I.. I see. I'm afraid your 'crew' may not exactly.. Be here. Many people you know may not, in fact. I was hoping I wouldn't be the one to have to break that news.

[Tetra scoffs and waves her head, looking a tad bit insulted.]

[She takes the news surprisingly well, actually.] Tch! It figures those lazy swabbies wouldn't be here. They're gonna be swabbin' the deck for weeks for this!

[Hattie is quiet for a moment. There are a lot of questions that could be asked here, but maybe it's best to try to stay on track.]

P- Pirates.. So.. I.. [Ok so much for staying on track.] I wasn't aware that Pirates pranced about in cute pink dresses.

I never somethin' like this if I had'a choice. Some stupid magic that apparently makes me wear what my ancestors wore before the kingdom was flooded.

[Hattie rubs her temples. How does a little girl not want to be a princess! What is going on with this world?? As a Princess-to-Be, Hattie can't allow this to happen. She just can't.]

I'm sorry this is just a rather.. Foreign situation to me. Being a Princess is wonderful! You get to rule over a kingdom and have lots of servants, and wear all sorts of dresses and sleep in the most expensive bedsheets! Don't you think that's a lot better than being stuck out in the sea breaking the rules and getting *gag* filthy?
