[Sitting at her computer and stuffing McDonald's fries from a Happy Meal into her mouth, Lisbeth wears a faded black tank top. In addition to three earrings piercing her left lobe, her left nostril, nasal septum, eyebrow, and lip are pierced. A wasp tattoo is only visible when he turns her head to drink from her soda can. Her hair is jet black and cut like Helen Keller did the work herself. The only different thing about her appearance is the black mascara she applied around her eyes, giving her a raccoon effect. She finally addresses her audience.]

I'll give you a face, but no name, Siren's Port. You're gonna see alot of me soon enough.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Though I could be from your time period, as you have not told me as of yet when you are from.

I need a time to compare with, don't I?

2000s, huh? I'm from the 1900s, myself. Almost to the 2000s when I came here.

[He smirks. Of course he's gotten the language down pat. Back home, Crowley was the one who saw things that would happen in the human world before his fellow colleagues did. He was even the one who introduced the helicopter to Leonardo da Vinci.]

I adapt well, what can I say.

No, I'm from good old Earth. No place like it.

But that's not where I'm originally from.
vaguelysauntered: (not the good guy)

I'm from somewhere down below.

Both literally and figuratively.

Underground in a way, though really, it is its own place down there.

Basically, it's a certain place that I know many people talk about in their lives. Oddly enough, most everyone knows of it...but no one except maybe for me has been there and back to Earth.

[A pause, and then he gives a few short claps as well as a wide grin, to show that yes, she's absolutely correct.]

You got it. I come from there.

...

Does that bother you?

Well, all the better for you, I suppose. Religion is a pretty tricky business and it's a topic not worth looking into unless you like arguing with lots of people at once.

Good. Hate to have someone lose interest just because I come from Down There.

Oh, it is.

[And he means it. Most of the people here were mostly idiots, but she? She intrigued him.]

Why shouldn't it be?

So? I find people who don't talk that much have the best things to say when they do.

And, psssh, everyone's weird in their own way. It's the disease that everyone has and that people try to incessantly cure to no end, weirdness. Me, I find weirdness quite interesting.

Except in the case of Hieronymus Bosch. I think his weirdness went far beyond the human spectrum of weirdness and into something else entirely, but I digress.

Math is good and logical. Though weird in it's own way too.

For example, I know for a fact that you can prove things like 0=1 or 1+0=0 if you go about it the right way.

[He waits those ten minutes with a slightly bored expression, but when she sends the equations, his face lights up into a grin.]

Exactly. That's the one.

So...are you a mathematician, or do you like numbers in general.
vaguelysauntered: (a mystery in an enigma)

[personal profile] vaguelysauntered 2012-03-27 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)
So, you're a regular numerophile, aren't you? Makes sense. Some people get involved in collecting stamps, or writing, or knitting, and I guess what you do is get involved in the intricate relationships between figures and such.

What's your favorite number? Do you have one?
