[The NV flips on. Eric looks rough again. He's pale, and looks like he could use a shower. He's shirtless, and his arm is bandaged.

But, the weird thing is, in spite of his condition, Eric looks happy.

In fact, he's beaming.

The video is being shot in Eric's bedroom. The bed is visible behind him.

There's someone asleep in it.]



He's here.



[And the video flips off.]

[ He pauses in his conversation with Eric, noting Alan's movement, then answers him. ]

Hello Alan Humphries. Yes, I have been here for about a year now. Perhaps more.

But if we go back, we go back to when we left. Right?

[Well that cemented that thing Eric had told him about before in his head. Because William had been there when he'd left and that had been mere days ago. A smile tugs at his lips and he'll lean on Eric's arm a bit.]

[Eric drops his head to the side, letting his head rest against Alan's temple.]

I'd been here for five months, remember? It's so strange...

[He turns back to William.]

It's good hearing from you. Maybe now that Alan's here all of us from dispatch should... I don't know... throw a party or something.

[ Looks to the side, checking to see if Grell heard the word 'party.' That wouldn't end well. ]

Perhaps something small. [ Ok good, Grell's distracted by something other than him. ] Small and quiet. Though, I have not seen Ronald Knox in some time.

Still. I didn't think there could be that much of a leap. Five months is a long time but an entire year when I saw him just days ago... It's boggling.

[A sleepy little hm leaves his throat and his eyes close for a moment or two, like he's gone back to sleep.]

Agreed and during the day.

[Anything too big would lead to trouble and he won't be going out at night anytime soon.]

So everyone is here then? I'm glad. It won't be a strange with familiar faces.

It's me, William, and Grell, and Ronald. So, most of the London division is here. At least the full staff not counting the new kids.

It does not matter anyway. There is no reaping to be done here. This world handles death in an entirely different way then our own.

[ William huffs, more at Eric's comment, and pushes his glasses up. ]

The work load here is tolerable and manageable, thankfully. I finally have free time for myself.

Well not exactly but it's not as if we can function as we normally do in this place.

[ He tilts his head arching a brow. ]

Free time? What do you do in your newly acquired free time, sir?

You won't believe it. He's living with Sutcliff now!

Yes. I suppose much of that free time still consists of keeping Grell Sutcliff in line.

[He'll glance over at Eric for a moment.]

[ Then he looks to Eric, quirking an eyebrow. ]

What are you trying to imply, Eric? You can't be trying to make it sound like they're intimate.

[He'll give him a scolding look and a shake of his head. What on earth is he going to do with this one?]

That's a surprise, Sir, but I can see how having him close at hand makes keeping an eye on him much easier.

[All the red faced blushing and sputtering. He doesn't need to know this about his superiors! He doesn't nor does he want to. He'll just press his hand over his face closing his eyes. Oh death, help him all the embarrassment for everyone all 'round just settled over him like a wave.]

[The sight of Alan's blush goes straight to Eric's heart. He laughs broadly, pulling Alan closer against him. He drops his head, touching his cheek to Alan's hair while he laughs.]

Yes, Spears. He really, really does. I HEARD.

[ Sorry Alan, William doesn't notice how awkward he's making things for you. He's gotta defend his lover! ]

If it bothered you that much, then you should have left. Nothing was keeping you glued to our couch. Honestly.

[ Oh that's okay you both just love making him completely brain broken. It's fine. He's just burying his face into his palm making a soft little sound. He squirms a bit, wiggling towards the edge of the bed. ]

I find this might be a conversation I should no longer be a part of.

[ Because honestly when it takes a turn like this, he's in over his head and out of his element. ]
