1 ❀ video

[One failed attempt. The screen is black for the first few seconds until whoever is holding the NV moves her fingers off the camera lens. Then, it shows pavement; the person recording is obviously not used to handling this device yet. It will be another second or two until the video clicks off abruptly. It seems like a wrong button was pressed.]

[Then a minute later, from the same device, a second video post pops up on the network. It's a child - a girl, perhaps, of around ten years of age. Her voice is quiet and shaky, and she is very obviously nervous... ]

[... and very strange-looking. Her hair is reminiscent of a pretzel, and her clothes are of an interesting design. Some might recognize her.]

[The feed is pretty short, lasting a few seconds at most.]

I'm not very sure if I'm using this en-bee correctly, but if anyone sees this... U-um. I'm looking for a person, but I don't know how to reach them.

[He's a little calmed down by the time Ichigo gets a response. She's seen some familiar faces and that has been a relief to her.]

I was looking for a family member. [A tiny, tiny smile.] I was able to find her, though! I'm very lucky that everyone can see this video.

[He's relieved to see that she's calmed down; Ichigo's big brother senses go into overdrive when it comes to seeing little kids get upset.]

That's good that you found her, is she gonna come and pick you up?

I would be delighted to spend time with her, but I'm going to be staying with someone else... he helped me when I arrived at the diamond, so I have to repay him for his kindness!

Now wait a sec, who is this guy? Do you know him, does your family member know him?

He's my friend's father, Mr. Von Karma. He found me when I forgot how to use my en-be-- NV, and he's been taking care of me since I wasn't feeling very well.

[Ah, okay. Sounds safe. It's not like this adorable child's just been taken in off the street by some sort of creeper or a pervert or a control freak murderous prosecutor who makes a name for himself in the legal world by falsifying evidence or anything like that. That's a relief.]

Well I guess if he's your friend's dad that shouldn't be too bad. You've told your relative where you're staying, right?

Yes! She and the person she's living with offered to let me stay with them, too.

It's good you've got some place to stay, this isn't the kinda place little kids should be left alone in.
