[The NV flicks on, propped up on a table, focused on Loki who sits cross legged on the floor, a baby sling across his chest. The sling is occupied by a lump that is invisible to most, save for a hot pink mohawk and a hot pink collar with a little silver hammer shaped tag dangling from it. The hellhound looks plump and happy to everyone who can see her.]

This- [He speaks with his head bent over the hellhound] -is Thora. Say hello, Thora-

[He helps her wave a faintly pink paw at the NV and she tries to nip his fingers in retaliation]

She's kind of the best hellhound ever. [In that condescending way only thirteen year old boys are capable of. And then suddenly serious, green fire in his eyes] And if anyone were to harm her, I would put their insides onto their outsides and join her in having a nibble. Just saying.

[And then that jovial demeanor returns again.] I've been learning much about the mortal world thanks to Google- the browser of webs. But so much information conflicts. I wish to know more. Midgard and humans are so different than what I always thought.

Although I never considered myself evil. Just ... complicated.

I tried, but I am rather unsure if it was listening. Or if it was, if it really cared. After all, here I remain.

Somehow I thought it would be harder to do that.

The movement of fate versus free will, knowing that no matter what happened, in the end, I would destroy everything. Over and over again. Drives one a bit to the edge.

Sometimes I wonder if the Core has a purpose in who it chooses to take. Villains, heroes, mortals- it cannot be entirely at random. Unless all of us are being lied to, which I would not put past the companies.

You couldn't avoid it?

Would it change anything if it wasn't random?

No. That isn't how it was written.

If it isn't random, then there is a motivation behind it, if we discover that, then we will know far more than we do now.

I have been trying, asking, but that depends on honesty on the part of the other and so many here are secretive.

If it were me, it would be a well crafted plan within a plan.

... What kind of plan?

I have a few theories. If this is a machine, it needs something to run on, I cannot imagine it to be self sustaining. Many of us are brought here during or after tragedies, when life and energies are high, yes? Perhaps it is feeding off of that and furthering our crisis states with these little malfunctions, such as the time loop. If it were my plan I would occlude this by bringing in a few others that were not taken during crisis states.

Of course, it is only a theory.
