[The NV flicks on, propped up on a table, focused on Loki who sits cross legged on the floor, a baby sling across his chest. The sling is occupied by a lump that is invisible to most, save for a hot pink mohawk and a hot pink collar with a little silver hammer shaped tag dangling from it. The hellhound looks plump and happy to everyone who can see her.]

This- [He speaks with his head bent over the hellhound] -is Thora. Say hello, Thora-

[He helps her wave a faintly pink paw at the NV and she tries to nip his fingers in retaliation]

She's kind of the best hellhound ever. [In that condescending way only thirteen year old boys are capable of. And then suddenly serious, green fire in his eyes] And if anyone were to harm her, I would put their insides onto their outsides and join her in having a nibble. Just saying.

[And then that jovial demeanor returns again.] I've been learning much about the mortal world thanks to Google- the browser of webs. But so much information conflicts. I wish to know more. Midgard and humans are so different than what I always thought.

A hellhound? Its surprisingly cute! But then, hell and demons always get such a bad reputation. I would never hurt something so cuddly, not that I imagine you'd be worried about that anyway!

[Flonne's an archangel, being able to see something demonic is no big deal.]

I've found the human world to be very interesting as well! Humans aren't all as bad as I have been lead to believe. What sort of things have you learned about them so far? Maybe we can compare notes!

You can see her? Most people cannot, I am told. Thus the reason for her collar and the pink mohawk, rather difficult to miss, even for a mortal.

Truly, you believe demons have a bad reputation? Some, perhaps. One cannot always help ones nature when things are blamed upon them for what they are. [Oh god, his life.]

Ah! Cellular phones and the Pad of I upon which one may watch movies. Mortals are far more accepting of things the Aesir consider strange or unnatural. Might I ask what you are, if not human?

Oh, I thought I had already told you! I'm an archangel! Did..I forget to mention that before? It really isn't anything that special in a world like this, but it is still something I'm proud of. Not just every angel makes it this far!

[She puffs her chest out with pride.]

Personally I've found myself fond of human food, some of it at least. It was difficult to get pizza back in Celestia, and it was never delivered in 30 minutes or less either. And this place with all the shops, I think they call it a mall, its just wonderful! So many interesting things all together in one building. I can understand why its always so packed! Being able to get all the best blue-rays and dvds without having to worry about interdimensional shipping is also nice!

...I might have forgotten. Huh. Well, there seem to be a lot of angels in this place, at least.

Human food is rather wonderful. Especially the elixir of Red Bull. I am still waiting to see how much one must drink before one receives their wings. I suppose I could create a pair with magic, but that would defeat the purpose.

I haven't met any of the other angels in the city in person yet, but I've talked to them a little.

[A pause.]

There's a drink that gives people wings? I wonder what would happen if I drank it? I've heard there are angels in human stories that had 6 wings and like..six faces or something. Its weird. I don't think I'd like to have 6 faces, that'd just be weird. I'm not sure I'd like having extra wings either. Really though, having wings isn't all that great anyway. Its totally stylish, but finding clothes that fit you is just a horrible experience! If I had the money I'd hire a personal tailor.

If you have wings, they might void your wings.

[A pause] Or grant you larger wings.

Have you not magic, then?

Hmm. I think it would be best if I just avoid bulls, red or otherwise. I don't want my wings to vanish! And if they got any bigger, it might make it hard to fit through doorways, so thats no good either.

[She holds her finger up, a tiny little ball of flame appearing at its tip.]

I've got magic, but not the sort of magic that lets me make my own clothes. Unless I do and I was never told that.

Perhaps you ought to try it. Though, not with the fire. [He's kind of a douche, but he's not going to tell someone like her to intentionally harm herself.]

Hmmm. Well, I'm not sure where to start, but I guess that isn't an excuse not to try! Okay, I'll try and make some none-fiery magical clothing sometime. And hopefully not have it fall apart someplace awkward!

Ah- yes, I imagine that would be a problem. Though, I always thought angels were somehow magically clothed by ... well, I am not entirely sure what. My dwelling on the subject never got that far.

Back in Celestia, angels were given uniforms based upon their ranks. I...I am not really sure who made them, I never saw an angel tailors or anything. Maybe we ordered them from outside or something. I've noticed a lot of people around here sure have a different idea of what angels are supposed to be compared to what I know. But I suppose that is what you get when you combine so many people from so many worlds, isn't it?

I should think so. There are quite a few different gods and pantheons of gods in my world. The mortals really do have things all wrong in many ways.

Yes, it really is unfortunate. Some humans do terrible, stupid things over something they don't understand at all. Angels don't really LIKE seeing people fight and hurt each other, and I'm pretty sure God, er the one back home I mean, doesn't either. I mean, not that I ever asked him or anything, it just doesn't seem like his sort of thing.

I used to think it was rather fun, stir things up and see how far you could take them. But- ah- I don't think that way anymore. Mostly.

Mostly? Well, I won't say anything else. Its not my place to try and tell you how to live your life. Besides, as long as no one is getting hurt there is nothing wrong with having a little fun. I bet that's something you never thought an angel would tell you, isn't it?

That is quite different than what I ought to expect, though I hardly think there are angles in my world, else they would have shown themselves by this point.

Well, you never know! Most people back home don't know about Celestia. They THINK they know what angels are like but they couldn't be much more wrong! For instance, we don't all live with God or anything. I've never even met the guy! I hear he's pretty vengeful though. Almost destroyed the world once awhile back.
