Yamamoto Takeshi--oh! I wonder if this can turn on too? [He starts pressing buttons at random and yeah there is a beep and a bloop here and there but then his video feature turns on to reveal his bright, grinning face.]

Nice to meet you, Ahiru! Hmm. Did they go away again? I'm having a little trouble remembering some things, haha. [It's just like him to say that with a laugh. At least he looks a tad sheepish.]

............Gokudera's hands shake slightly when he hears the familiar voice on his NV. It's been half a month since he was dumped into this nightmare, half a month since he's silently waited for signs of people from home. He takes a drag from his cigarette, letting a mouthful of smoke out into the chilled air before he responds.]

Took you long enough to show up, dumbass.

[Right in the middle of the sidewalk, Yamamoto stops walking as soon as he hears this voice and stares at the split baseball in his hand for a dumb moment. Then a brilliant grin lights up his face and he laughs, bringing the device closer to his ear and awkwardly trying to hold it like a cellphone.]

Oh, it's Hayato! Yo~!

[There are at least half a dozen subjects he wants to grill Yamamoto for information on, but he knows how the idiot's mind processes things incredibly slowly.]

As much as he'd like to cuss the other guardian out for refusing to stop calling him by his first name, other things need to be settled first.] I get off work in an hour and then I'll explain things.
