The 16th Verse - Voice

[It had definitely been a while since Genesis had last used the network to broadcast to a wide audience, but today, he seems to have decided to do so for a great reason. When he speaks, he doesn't sound like the proud flirt he usually was towards the rest of the port. Instead, he sounds as if he was about to go into battle. He broadcasts this from his room in his shared home in the outskirts of Sector 4.]

So, SERO believes that they could use the core as their plaything for their experiments. This, I can't live with. This, I won't tolerate. If you ask me, the Core must be destroyed. And I'm more than willing to help with the task.

[He pauses.]

And I won't hesitate taking down anyone who decides to stop me or protect that horrid company.

[He shuts off the feed then and decides to head straight for the Baseball Diamond.]

[Somehow, there is a bit of a gap in his memory. He tries not to show that he can't bring the memory up. But he feels compelled to continue on regardless and help AGI's cause.]

'So what' about, gee I dunno, the whole Newcomer population getting sent back in time by it and then the damn thing exploding and killing thousands? And you're seriously telling me you wanna go out there and blow the thing up.

[Genesis huffs. He was just about to exit the house.]

[Genesis don't turn this into a fight. You remember what happened last time.]

We'll see about that.

[Even if Genesis can still remember the fight, all his feelings about what had happened have been overridden by AGI's mind control. All that fills him now is a disdain for anyone who wanted to stop him and a strong urge to go out and destroy the core on behalf of AGI.]

[soldierfirst]

Yes. We will.

[Sephiroth is not at home at the moment though, having left early to get some work done for Lee. Still, Fenrir is fast and Sephiroth determined; Genesis will not have much of a headstart on him.]

[recitings]

[While Sephiroth has the bike, Genesis has his wing. Without hesitation, he unleashes it once he is past the front door. He takes to the sky and darts right away to the baseball field where there's already a riot between AGI and SERO supporters. Genesis hovers over them with Rapier in hand, like a one-winged angel of doom.]

[There's a strange coldness to his voice now. Somehow, all the threats to stop him have seemed to do simply steel his resolve to destroy the core.]

I was close to death once. Perhaps this is my true calling. Perhaps this is what I've been pulled for. To destroy the core. To end SERO.
