[Today she's seated on her bed, her favorite spot for the more casual, cheerful messages to the network. As such, there's a smile on her face as she begins to speak.]

Hi! Um, I just wanted to say something really quick. My sixteenth birthday is in a few weeks, and I think I'm going to have a small party for it.

[She still doesn't think it's such a big deal, but she's fairly certain someone who's been here a while would have remembered and insisted she have a party anyways. That's what happened last year, at least!]

It won't be anything extravagant at all, and nobody has to get anything for me even if they decide to come. But everyone I know is welcome! It's on the afternoon of the 24th, but I know a lot of people are busy, so I thought it'd be good to mention it in advance. Oh, and of course it's okay if anybody can't make it! That's all I really had to say.

Nope. You're not getting out of it. [He smiles a bit] If you're really worried about it, how about a birthday song instead of a gift?

Oh, a song would work! I'd like that.

Okay! That sounds better then, and it will be fun.

Yeah! You're really good, so it'll be nice no matter what.

I hope so! I guess we'll see.

As long as you're sure you don't want anything else.

I'm certain! Make sure to tell Kurt that, too, okay?

I will. That might not stop him though.

At least I'll know you tried! [She giggles.]

Of course, but you know him. There's no stopping him when he sets his mind on something.

That's one of the best things about him, so I guess I don't mind that much!

I don't mind at all. It's one of the best qualities he has, and he has a lot...

Oh, I think I'll start to gush if we keep talking about him.

Oh, go ahead and gush, you should know by now I don't mind! It's really sweet, the way you talk about him. Besides, I love hearing about romantic stuff.

It's really easy to be sweet about him, you know?

Why don't you gush this time instead? How is your relationship going?

[There's a blush immediately, but a smile too.]

It's really wonderful. I mean, he makes me so happy, I... I really haven't ever felt quite the same way about anybody as I do about him.

That's the best part isn't it? Just knowing that this person you're with is the best one for you.

Yeah. A lot of stuff happened back home, so now that we're here... It's nice to be able to get away from all that and have each other.

Yeah. I mean... You're one of the few people who knows what I did back home. I'm so grateful to have a chance to make up for it here. I just want to make him happy.

Yeah. For me, I guess it's just - there were so many times back home I was scared he'd get hurt, or something even worse. And I know it's even more dangerous here, but it's easier to make sure he's alright, too.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It sounds a little weird given the Darkness but at least we can protect ourselves from that.

Yeah, it's easy to make sure he stays inside at night.

I think the most important thing, though, is like... I don't know, I always feel safe whenever I'm with him. Like, really peaceful and complete and happy.
