Oh, but I've never had a twenty-fifth birthday before! It's hard to have one when you die a year before; it wasn't a very nice thing. I think I died of infection, I wouldn't recommend it. [spoilers, he never died.] I wouldn't recommend my century either, it was miserable.

Is there anything a person should have done or seen by the age of twenty-five? I'd like to catch up!

[jack buries his face in his arms for a moment, with a long-suffering sigh. he thinks of a thousand ways to just- deal away with Rufus, but he has to refrain from killing anyone, to remain in oswald's good graces.

he looks up, sighs again, and leans back into his seat.]

[ Don't worry, Jack, he tends to have that effect on people... Unfortunately, though, Rufus isn't entirely too concerned about dying here. Sure, it'd suck, but he'd be back.

[Jack's eye twitches with the mention of the eyes of misfortune, but he doesn't lose his composure, opting to reach for an apple and start making apple rabbits out of it instead.]

[ Briefly, the motion of his wrist stops, and he quirks a brow at the other. ]

It is impossible for a Baskerville to have an 'illegal' contract, as Pandora had popularised. Perhaps Misfortunate Children and being a Baskerville are not always mutually inclusive.

[he's never brought it up with oswald, or lacie; perhaps he should have asked Levi.]

Xerxes had already been taken into Baskerville custody, back home. It's only a matter of time before he is executed for being what he is, either way.

[ Thoughtfully, his eyes drift for a moment. Back home, he had anticipated that Break would pursue him once learning of Sheryl's condition - incorporated him into his plans. Hopefully, he would have gotten some use out of him before he'd been captured as so... He hated inconveniences. ]

It seems that, of everyone, thou mayest be furthest along in our timeline, then. Intriguing.
