[Hey guys, it's been a while. Someone seems rather pleased about something.]

And thus the passage of time comes full-circle.

The Darkness didn't always exist in this place.

So we saw.

It was everyone fighting, all that darkness, bottled up then growing all this time?

It was a curious experiment to observe.

Knowing the why... isn't that what we wanted? To know just what transpired, what caused the Darkness to manifest? Now we have that knowledge...

People all fought over the same thing they're still fighting over, and still nobody around here's any closer to being free from this island.

Perhaps so, at first glance... there are a good many things that can still be accomplished, regardless of the squabbling of the feckless.

You know a good thing to accomplish in this place?

Hnh. I can only imagine.

Most people focus on leaving to the degree that they are single-minded. Their distraction is their own loss.

Them, and anything in their path.

But what do you care, right?

Do you honestly wish to hear the answer to that question, is the real matter...

And what if I did?

You may be pleasantly surprised, or you may be unpleasantly shocked.

I can handle that. So what does a person like you think is something worth accomplishing?

Understanding the whys of the world. Bringing order and balance to the universe.

Hah! When all you ever do is make trouble for my friends.

Perhaps you should evaluate what it is that you and your friends are fighting for, and perhaps the why of such "trouble" will become clear.

I fight for my friends, they'd fight for me. That's balanced.

That's hardly the sort I was referring to, but I suppose cosmological concerns are far above your collective minds.

It makes sense, given how Light has permeated the realms to stifling for the longest time.

You can't blame the Light for all of that! Anyway, even if you're crazy enough to think you're making balance, it doesn't mean you can just make a bunch of replicas, wreck up a bunch of hearts, mess with people's memories and go bodysnatching.
