[ when the feed comes into play, elliot's voice sounds faintly troubled. it's the voice of someone who hasn't had a proper night's sleep due to many thoughts plaguing his mind. the unusual tone of a teenage boy who has had enough. and the fact that something seems to be amiss in this world once again isn't helping. ]
There was a saying I heard here a while ago. I believe it went 'You can't trust anyone as far as you can throw them'. And now I see this phrase is taking more truth than I thought it ever would. Be it acquaintance, friend, or family. Sometimes you have to think twice about how you really feel about them. Before you can put your full trust in them.
Because if you do... If the situation comes up that you've made the wrong decision and the ugly truth is revealed about this person, you can regret it for the rest of your life.
[ he's a bit touchier than usual, try not to think too much on it. he can't help it right now. there is a pause in the feed before he cleared his throat and continued. ]
On another topic, it's sad to see how a power outage like this can cause such an uproar. That being said, stay safe and if you need help.. Well, people have said this before me. Call someone you know you can count on.
[ trying not to contradict his precious statements, he'll give a sigh. ]
Sorry for using your time. If anyone else has thoughts about what's going on, I would like to know.

I don't really have a reason to go out at all today. And if I did, the news of everything going on sure canceled it.
[ he'll stop before answering that next question. truth be told, elliot didn't know how to respond to that. he wasn't all right but if he said 'no', then he'd have to explain himself. so he'll go with the most obvious response. ]
I'm fine.
voice;
[Oh! Wait, no, he's figured it out.]
You shouldn't be upset if it's because your contract with that c-cat-thing is broken. That would be cause for celebration...
voice;
Do you think I'd really be upset over that?! [ well. he might be and might not be, depending on what would happen if said contract was broken.
....that isn't the point. ] Stop trying to guess, you're horrible at it.
voice;
He sighs in return, but it's resigned and apologetic.]
Then why don't you just tell me what's bothering you?
voice;
I.. can't tell you.
voice;
Huh? What do you mean?
voice;
voice; 1/2
I-I'm sorry no I heard you just fine!

[But okay, he doesn't want to piss Elliot off any worse than he already has the last few weeks. While he'll gladly accept his brother's hatred, he doesn't want to encourage it.]
Right. I understand.
