[ when the feed comes into play, elliot's voice sounds faintly troubled. it's the voice of someone who hasn't had a proper night's sleep due to many thoughts plaguing his mind. the unusual tone of a teenage boy who has had enough. and the fact that something seems to be amiss in this world once again isn't helping. ]
There was a saying I heard here a while ago. I believe it went 'You can't trust anyone as far as you can throw them'. And now I see this phrase is taking more truth than I thought it ever would. Be it acquaintance, friend, or family. Sometimes you have to think twice about how you really feel about them. Before you can put your full trust in them.
Because if you do... If the situation comes up that you've made the wrong decision and the ugly truth is revealed about this person, you can regret it for the rest of your life.
[ he's a bit touchier than usual, try not to think too much on it. he can't help it right now. there is a pause in the feed before he cleared his throat and continued. ]
On another topic, it's sad to see how a power outage like this can cause such an uproar. That being said, stay safe and if you need help.. Well, people have said this before me. Call someone you know you can count on.
[ trying not to contradict his precious statements, he'll give a sigh. ]
Sorry for using your time. If anyone else has thoughts about what's going on, I would like to know.

You sound really grumpy. I just went out to see how everybody's taking it myself. It's pretty crazy. I guess people don't know what to do with themselves, without their powers.
The game at the stadium's been cancelled, obviously.

I don't know which I prefer. Right now, I think I just.. don't want to know anything about it. A time to process, I suppose. If that makes sense at all.
Well, being grumpy seems to be something I can't help today. And I can understand it being crazy. Some people probably feel that they lost a sense of security without their powers. I can't say I really blame them but going this far? [ a sigh. ]
I think the game is the least of our worries right now.

If the Core can take away people's powers, and the lights and the water, I guess it really scares them. I'm pretty...angry too, actually! But I don't think it's the end of the world. Not unless keyblades are involved, and nobody's whipping those out, looks like.
The day Grant Stadium does Norm Sports is the day you really know it's over, hah!
