001 | voice.
[ when the feed comes into play, elliot's voice sounds faintly troubled. it's the voice of someone who hasn't had a proper night's sleep due to many thoughts plaguing his mind. the unusual tone of a teenage boy who has had enough. and the fact that something seems to be amiss in this world once again isn't helping. ]
There was a saying I heard here a while ago. I believe it went 'You can't trust anyone as far as you can throw them'. And now I see this phrase is taking more truth than I thought it ever would. Be it acquaintance, friend, or family. Sometimes you have to think twice about how you really feel about them. Before you can put your full trust in them.
Because if you do... If the situation comes up that you've made the wrong decision and the ugly truth is revealed about this person, you can regret it for the rest of your life.
[ he's a bit touchier than usual, try not to think too much on it. he can't help it right now. there is a pause in the feed before he cleared his throat and continued. ]
On another topic, it's sad to see how a power outage like this can cause such an uproar. That being said, stay safe and if you need help.. Well, people have said this before me. Call someone you know you can count on.
[ trying not to contradict his precious statements, he'll give a sigh. ]
Sorry for using your time. If anyone else has thoughts about what's going on, I would like to know.

and then to action.
You needed me?
action.
[He finds a box of biscuits.]
Looks like my tongue works just fine again. Weird, huh?
action.
he's moving to sit down, placing his elbow on top of the counter. ]
Nothing sweet.. Please. [ he'll watch him before pausing. ] Do you need help with anything?
action.
Ah, plain milk for you, maybe? I'm fine, I've got it.
action.
Milk will be fine.
action.
[The kettle whistles. He moves to tend to it.]
But I don't have that contract anymore. Today, I woke up and it was gone.
action.
[ this house is just full of contracts, isn't it? ciel, gilbert, and even alois. elliot wouldn't be one to talk either due to his own contract. ] That's what a contract usually entails. The severity of the circumstances though depends on what is needed, I guess. Most of the time.
[ things can be unfair in that department though. it sure was to elliot back when he was alive. ]
To my knowledge, a lot of people woke up powerless this morning. Does it bother you?
action.
Yes, [Alois says simply.] It bothers me.
action.
honestly, elliot didn't know what to do next. question further or try to do his best to make this easier for the both of them. well. ]
I'm.. sure this won't last long. And within a few days, everything might be back to normal. Alright?
