I am trying to help a teenage boy find a girlfriend. He's a nice boy, but he gets very anxious and self-defeating. I thought it would be nice to help him, but I don't really know how.

For the women here - what kind of behavior, personality traits, skills, and clothing styles do you find attractive?

For the men - what do you do to prepare for a date when you are nervous and want to make a good impression?

Any advice would be appreciated. If anyone is willing to make an extra effort to help me help him, I will pay you.

He really does. His past failures have discouraged him. I was thinking I could teach him how to fight and make him stronger and that would help his confidence, but...ah. I think he needs a little more help with social confidence and learning how to pretend to be calm even when he's nervous.

With him, I doubt it. I think he just needs to get a little stronger so he'll know he can defend himself if he needs to.

Acting classes. Most of it is learning to give an air of confidence when you aren't feeling it - and pretending to be so, makes it easier to actually be confident.
