004: [ video ]
[ he frowns into the camera ] This doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to let a fat man carrying a bag of toys into your house in the middle of the night after the sirens have gone off? Wouldn't that just ruin the darkness protection on your house?
Oh, and why do you call it Christmas? Can't it just be a winter festival?
[ because other then the creepy fat man in red and the constant badgering to spend his money, Christmas didn't really sound like a bad holiday. He liked gifts! He liked giving gifts. He just didn't see why this Christ fellow had be dragged into it as well. Honestly, it almost sounded like something straight out of a horror book, or will be by the time Oz is through dissecting it. ]

[ poor man, he has to skip out on his very own birthday party... ]
video;
HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS...]
It's a celebration of his birth, but I wouldn't call it a party. Not like you'd throw for a person. He's God, you see, so...

video;
[He's already in Heaven, man! Heaven!!!]
video;
... This is the stupidest holiday I've ever heard of. [ he'll stick to his yuletide and winter solstice, thanks! ]
video;
Allen has a complicated history with Christmas, and the holiday itself tends to make him a bit melancholy, for reasons entirely unrelated to the festivities themselves. The actual meaning of Christmas is of little concern to him.
But he can't help but feel vaguely annoyed that someone who hardly understands it thinks it's stupid...]
The gifts are meant to be given to family and friends, though.
video;
He sighs. ] I'll keep reading. Maybe I'll understand it better if I read a few more books on the subject. [ he smiles then ] Thanks, uh...
[ he blinks ] Who are you?
video;
[He pauses. How rude of him--] Oh! Ah, my name is Allen Walker. And you...?
video;
Oz Vessalius! It's nice to meet you Mr. Walker.
[ he paused ]
Do I know you? Your name sounds familiar. [ he's heard it before, he's sure of it! Then again, there's so much going on the network every day. It'd be easy to miss something obvious.
Like the fact that Gil knows him. ]
video;
Oh-!
Do you know Gilbert Nightray?
video;
Of course I know him. He's my manservant! [ and friend, retainer, whatever. Either way, Gil was his. ]
video;
So he is! It's nice to finally meet you.
Gilbert is... a friend of mine.
video;
in the presence of ladieson important occasions. ]Oh? [ he marked that hesitation ] You must be a special person then, to be friends with Gil. He only chooses the best. [ okay, he only ever chooses the weird and the strange. No one who is normal sticks around Gil for very long. Occupational hazard. ]
video;
And he nearly laughs at that.]
I think I only specialize in eating far too much of what he bakes...
video;
[ Gil always did like being useful. ]
