Hello. This is Anya again.

I hope everyone had a very satisfactory Halloween. I find it very tacky and slightly offensive, but it is also a very lucrative sales period if you stock eye of newt. Shakespeare was at least accurate in that respect, even if I found many of his writings badly researched. Many of the first performances were overacted as well, but I suppose that's not his fault.

I wanted to ask about the Darkness. Has anyone pinpointed its exact source? There are suggestions that it is demonic in nature, but I've certainly never heard of it before which is strange. I know about most demons, even Canadian demons. Does anyone else have a theory?

I would say magic.

Maybe in your world. In mine it would be fairly easy to accomplish. The witches would just need to poison the ground with something that activates only at night.

I do.

I haven't had reason to hunt any witches here, but back home is another story. In my world, witches are naturally driven to cause destruction.

Anya -

I believe the Core brought it here or created it, but it's sort of more complicated than that. Things with die and decay while exposed to the Darkness become part of it. Over a year ago, someone popped a hole in this dimension during the day and Darkness spilled in through it, even more violent than it normally is.

Any old way of killing them works. Even rocket launchers.

I was unconscious and the person who did it is no longer here.

But it seems so? I believe the Darkness was pulled here like the rest of us and has just spread.

It would make sense, why it is harmed by the sunlight here.

Could be. There's a few attached to my home dimension.

Actually...our Limbo does spread sort of like the Darkness. So yes, that makes sense.

'Darkness' exists everywhere.

It's a rare, peculiar type that manifests itself as rot.
