♦ 001 ♦ [VOICE]
..My name is Master Eraqus. For those that knew her, I regret to inform you that Aqua is no longer here in Siren's Port.
I know that she worked at the Solstice Academy during her time here; as her mentor prior to this place, I would be happy to speak with those regarding the school and any management matters that need to be dealt with in her absence.
[ A brief pause, then: ]
..Thank you for time.
[ The recording then ends with a #CLICK#. ]
[PRIVATE FILTER/LOCKED to: Lightside Keyblade Club, plus any friends to House of Departure residents]
[ The earlier recording sounded collected and poised; now, while Eraqus still sounds serious as ever, his voice is quiet and a great deal more tired. ]
As a few are already aware, Aqua suffered a severe head injury during an ambush in September, one that caused her to be trapped in sleep. In spite of our hopes and best efforts, I'm afraid.. [ He stops suddenly, a painful pause, before clearing his throat to continue. ] ..I'm afraid she never awakened.
Her Light faded from the Port yesterday evening.
[ His voice goes flat. ] There was a heavy concentration of entities known as the Unversed in the area when I found her. We will deal with that matter in due course.
The attack occurred long before the recent incidents involving the Heartless beast that jas been roaming the city -- I do not believe them to related. Nonetheless, be very careful. Do not travel at night, and if you absolutely must, do not do so alone.

[private, voice ; presumeably not on keykid filter yet we have not met propetly goodsir
Namine is gone too.
Are you sure it's from the Port? Nothing else happened?
[Private, voice; Who are you, strange young person :|a]
Aqua is..gone from the Port. Both Terra and Ventus can confirm that as truth.
[Private, voice]
I know she was teaching Namine magic.
[Private, voice]
[No darkness monster attacks, he hopes..!]
I did not have a chance to meet her before she left. I am sure she was a good student.
[Private, voice]
This happened before. She forgot everything about this place.
I need to talk to Kairi, and ask her....
[Private, voice]
It is difficult, to be left behind.
May her return be soon, and safe. It cannot hurt to ask.. Kairi, you said? [Another familiar name. Albeit another person he has yet to meet. Roxas totally failed to mention you, Joe!]
[Private, voice]
[Oh Roxas you're totally the best bff.]
[Private, voice]
As were you, I see.
And your name would be..?
[Private, voice]
I'm Joe.
[Private, voice]
I am sorry, Joe. It..is always hard when those closest to our hearts are beyond our reach, whatever the circumstances.
[Private, voice]
This is the best chance at a real life we've got. For me and for most of my best friends.
She got to go to art school here, and learn magic, and go out of the house to try new things, when it was safe.
[private, voice]
[private, voice]
[private, voice]
I'm so sorry, sir.
[private, voice]
[Silence.
then, very softly:]
As am I.
I know Terra and Ventus will both be glad for the presence of their friends in the days to come.

Text;
Thank you, Xehanort.
I am told that she may return in due time. But partings never grow any easier.
Text;
Of course, Eraqus. To lose a pupil, even temporarily, is never cause for anything but sympathy.
What returns may be completely different from what departed.
Text;
Eyes narrow slightly at the message.]
Perhaps. Perhaps not. It is hard to know how life's experiences may bring about change in others.
Nonetheless, there is little point in speculation at this juncture.
Text;
Of course. Who can predict the nature of the Core, however? She may be fresh from having taken your key and ready to learn. She may be weary and burdened from years of long service. She could be anywhere in between.
You never were one for the game of What-Ifs, though.
Text;
No. I am not.
Particularly not so soon after departure. If you don't mind.
Text;
Text;
[
He can mope if he wants to! You're not the boss of him!!]Call it what you wish. I simply do not see the point in wasting time on idle speculation.
Text;
Of course, your time is precious. Forgive me for intruding.
Text;
It has been a trying time as of late. My apologies if I sound ungracious, I know you yourself have much occupying your own attention.
[PS you're still a jerk.]
Text;
text;
All right.]
Thanks for letting us know.
Text; Private
...You're welcome.
I was sorry to hear Naminé has also disappeared.
Text; Private
It's happened before
Text; Private
Will you and the others be all right?
Text; Private
[Eventually.]

[Loss never gets any easier.]
[Video]
[A small laugh]
Although that's selfish of me when we should be joyful every time one of us manages to make our escape.
[Video; Private]
[No laughter here - nor offense taken, for that matter.]
Joy? ...Had the circumstances of her departure been different, I suppose I might agree with you.
[Video; Private]
Headmaster? I do believe I'm the senior faculty member, but I've never considered myself to be school principal material.
[Video; Private]
[Rather sadly:] She is definitely gone. [Although he does squint a moment at the intervention comment. Hnnnnnn??]
I see. There were documents left behind for a successor to the role. Perhaps I can deliver them once the faculty members have deliberated on the matter?
[Video; Private]
That would be most helpful. The school will suffer without Miss Aqua's guidance, but it can't be allowed to founder completely.
